Purpose: There is an abundance of available concussion education programs for parents of youth ice hockey players. Parents play a vital role in recognizing signs and symptoms of a concussion sustained by a child, and therefore their knowledge and retention of such information is deemed to be very important. Men’s ice hockey is a fast and exciting sport that draws elite athletes into its rink. The demands of the sport place athletes at an exceptionally high risk for musculoskeletal injury if they are not properly conditioned.
