This dissertation aims to design a new monitoring, control and surveillance (MCS) component that may be suitable for Peruvian artisanal fishing. When it refers to suitable, it means that it should be low-cost and compatible with other MCS systems to improve the fight against Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing. Fishing in Cameroon is one of the main economic activities and lifeline of the coastal communities in the South West Region of Cameroon, especially the artisanal fishing which is mostly traditional and subsistence. Cameroon fisheries are either fully exploited or are already in the critical state of over-exploitation by foreigners and local communities. Research on the Administration of EU (+ FTA) and other Fleets Involved in Aquaculture of Salmonids

t is widely acknowledged that there exists a dearth of information with regard to fleet involved in aquaculture of salmonids. To address this insufficiency, and to understand the gaps and grey areas, Transport Canada funded a project in 2017 that aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of how the Norwegian, Irish, Chile and Australian fleet involved in aquaculture of salmonids are registered and administered. The World Maritime University undertook the project, and contracted external consultants to develop and deliver reports from a number of the aforementioned jurisdictions.
