This experiment is concerned with the design of handwriting instruments. It is the purpose of this experiment to determine if the Zaner-Bloser finger-fitting instruments have any advantages as to speed and quality of handwriting over the conventional instruments as regularly used at sixth grade level.

The purpose of this study is to describe, explain and conclude a series of experiments in search of the creative aspects of light and shadow when applied to the concept of “light-painting” by using clay in an experimental way in a wall panel. The relationship of physique and personality has long challenged psychologists, physicians, and more recently, physical educators. Many studies, such as those by Sheldon, have attempted to determine correlations which might exist between a physique type and personality. However, it seems that a related area which is very important to the physical education profession has failed to receive sufficient investigation. Comparatively little research has been carried out to determine the relationship between an individual's state of physical fitness and his personality characteristics. The purpose of this investigation was (1) to survey the reading interests of eighty-three seventh grade students of both sexes at Jefferson Junior High School, Albuquerque, New Mexico; (2) to show the degree to which different levels of intelligence in the survey group produced differences in reading interests; and (3) to determine whether literature in the texts used by students in the survey group satisfies these interests.

The purpose of this study was (1) to aid in developing oral language patterns essential for better understandings of some common concepts in English; (2) to provide seven field trips from rural to urban communities for stimulating first-hand experiences; (3) to couple these trips with an extensive use of related audio-visual materials for immediate reinforcement learning; (4) to originate oral dialogue in English for classroom practices before and after each excursion; and (5) to test the significance of the gains made in use of English.
