Introduction: Pilonidal sinus is a very common inflammatory disease of the gluteal region. The most common site of occurrence is the natal cleft. Introduction: Cutaneous warts are hyperkeratotic protrusions over the skin caused by human papilloma virus (HPV). These are common throughout the world. Cutaneous warts can occur at any age but are unusual in early childhood and infancy. Warts are often diagnosed clinically on physical examination, but some dysplastic lesions may require laboratory confirmation of HPV. Spontaneous clearance is not always possible, and offering a reliable prognosis to the individual case is impossible. Menstruation is a worldwide biological phenomenon that can have differing impacts based on what women were taught by their family members and friends. The purpose of this investigation was to understand menstruation experiences and communication, from menarche through menopause, among a sample of cross-generational women living in Florence, Italy. In-depth interviews (n=28) were conducted in English in May and June 2022 to investigate different aspects affecting menstruation throughout a woman’s lifetime. Most participants reported having received limited preparation for menarche, menstruation, and menopause. A 62-year-old male presented with a sudden onset of dyspnea following a racquetball session. Vital signs revealed a blood pressure of 136/63 mm Hg, heart rate of 116 beats/min, respiratory rate of 26 breaths/min, temperature of 98.7º F, and oxygen saturation of 85% on room air. The physical examination was notable for tachycardia, no audible murmur, and bilateral coarse breath sounds on lung auscultation. Pertinent laboratory data showed leukocytosis, elevated lactic acidosis, and elevated brain natriuretic peptide. Background: Sport health care providers (SHCP) frequently field inquiries from athletes and key stakeholders regarding pain-relieving procedures, including medications. Purpose: This study sought to investigate the knowledge and role of SHCPs in managing and dispensing pain-relieving medications (PRMs), including opioids, for Canadian athletes. Method: Certified athletic therapists, registered sport massage therapists, licensed doctor of chiropractic sport sciences, and registered physiotherapists were sent an online survey. A 31-year-old male ice hockey player presented with symptoms consistent with bilateral inguinal hernias further confirmed with imaging. After undergoing surgical excision, the patient continued to report pain. Further evaluation determined the patient’s pain seemed to be concentrated around the pubic region. Upon MRI reassessment, the patient demonstrated mild inflammation of the pubic symphysis from osteitis pubalgia (OP). Purpose: The purpose of this report is to describe the clinical course of a patient with a slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) who was subsequently diagnosed with avascular necrosis of the femoral head. Case Description: The patient was a 15-year-old male seen by a physical therapist 2 months after in-situ fixation with 2 screws for a SCFE. One week after undergoing surgery, the patient experienced a considerable increase in left hip pain.
