TRC conducted intensive, linear pedestrian surveys of six (6) proposed routes. These lines are part of an approximate total of 58,180 linear feet of 8-inch potable water lines, 13,130 linear feet of 12-inch potable water lines, 11,240 linear feet of 16-inch potable water lines, and approximately 120 potable water service line household connections (3/4-inch). These potable water lines will connect to approximately 63 fire hydrants. The current neighborhood does not contain any existing water and wastewater facilities for residents. The residents of these areas currently use private water storage tanks, which typically have a capacity of up to 2,500 gallons. …

URS Corporation (URS) was contracted by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to perform a cultural resources survey in support of plans to rehabilitate four Floodwater Retention Structures (FRSs) located in Hays and Caldwell Counties, Texas. FRS 10 and FRS 12 are located in Hays County, while FRS 21 and FRS 28 are in Caldwell County. In March 2017, Gray & Pape, Inc., of Houston, Texas, conducted mechanical backhoe scraping and trenching on property adjacent to Oyster Creek within undeveloped areas within the Aliana Subdivision, Fort Bend County, Texas. The backhoe testing was conducted to investigate a total of seven anomalies identified using ground penetrating radar during previous investigations conducted in 2006 and 2007. These seven anomalies contained radar signatures that were consistent with possible human burials and thus were considered to possibly be burials associated with the yet undiscovered location of the Kirk’s Point Cemetery. In 2016, Gray & Pape, Inc., of Houston, Texas, performed a preliminary archaeological and historical desktop assessment of 22.2-kilometers (13.8 miles) proposed for the West Harris County Regional Water Authority, Second Source Transmission Line Project – Segment 3 Alignment, in Harris County, Texas. The conclusion of that study was that most of the project’s Area of Potential Effects occurred within areas that had previously been disturbed by the construction of roads, parking lots, and artificial drainages. BOB Hydrographics, LLC (BOB) conducted a marine archaeological survey of a proposed oyster reef restoration site in Lavaca Bay, Texas. This project, sponsored by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, spans portions of State Mineral Lease Tracts 17A and 20A in Calhoun County. The area of potential effect (APE) proposed for reefing is 30 acres. A total of 50 acres was surveyed, including a 50- meter buffer around the APE. Water depth averages 5 feet. Reefing will require placement of a substrate, such as oyster shell, clam shell, limestone, river-rock or crushed concrete, on the seafloor to provide a hard …

The objectives of the investigation were to locate and identify cultural materials, sites, or historic properties within the proposed impact area, and to prepare management recommendations regarding any identified resources. Archeologists from AmaTerra Environmental, Inc. (AmaTerra), working on behalf of the Tarrant Regional Water District (TWRD) and their environmental compliance subconsultant, Freese & Nichols, Inc., conducted an emergency investigation at the previously recorded Site 41HE377 at the Cedar Creek Reservoir Pump Station in Henderson County, Texas. The investigation was conducted after a private citizen reported finding a human jaw bone along the shoreline at 41HE377 and expressed concern that the pump station, which is currently under construction, may be impacting an unrecorded cemetery.
