Analyse Der Globalen Zugänglichkeit Von Nonprofit-Daten: Vorläufige Ergebnisse Einer Länderübergreifenden Vergleichsstudie, Angie Holzer

Dieser Artikel präsentiert vorläufige Ergebnisse einer globalen, länderübergreifenden Studie zur Untersuchung der Zugänglichkeit, Struktur und Transparenz von Nonprofit-Registersystemen in allen Ländern weltweit. Neben der Erhebung, ob in den einzelnen Ländern eine nationale Online-Datenbank für Nonprofit-Organisationen existiert, analysiert die Studie, wer diese Systeme betreibt – staatliche Stellen oder zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen – und identifiziert Fälle, in denen mehrere Register parallel geführt werden. Die Analyse berücksichtigt zudem nationale Kontextindikatoren wie Bevölkerungsgröße, Menschenrechtsbewertungen, Internetzugang und Governance-Strukturen; diese Variablen werden in diesem vorläufigen Beitrag jedoch noch nicht vertieft ausgewertet.

Analyzing Global Nonprofit Accessibility: Preliminary Findings From A Cross-National Comparative Study, Angie Holzer

This article presents preliminary findings from a global, cross-national study examining the accessibility, structure, and transparency of nonprofit registry systems across all countries worldwide. In addition to determining whether an online national nonprofit database exists in each country, the study evaluates who operates these systems—government authorities or civil society organizations—and identifies cases in which multiple registries are maintained. The analysis also incorporates national context indicators—such as population, human rights ratings, internet access, and governance—but these variables are not analyzed in this preliminary article. Registration requirements also vary substantially across countries, with many systems requiring only minimal documentation and limited verification. …

Several studies have discussed the bilateral economic impact of the Abraham Accords, but few of them have thoroughly examined how this agreement has evolved into a collective security framework amid global geopolitical changes. This study attempts to fill the existing research gap by analyzing the transformation of the Abraham Accords into the Abraham Alliance using the Balance of Power theory framework developed by Stephan M. Walt. Using a qualitative approach and case study mode, this study examines secondary data from 2020 to 2025, using academic journals, government policy documents, and reliable news media as sources. This paper explores various definitions of social revolutions to create one cohesive and operationalized definition that measures success through a numerical rating scale. Once establishing what revolutions were successful or fall into different typological sortings, this research employs qualitative content analysis as well as quantitative methods still being refined, in order to investigate the potential drivers of social revolutionary success in Latin America throughout the 20th century. The purpose of this research is to study China’s involvement in Africa’s mining industry and analyze its impact on US economic interests. China has traded and invested in many mining sites across Africa; However, I will be focusing on DRC, Zambia, and Zimbabwe for my research. Using ArcGIS pro tools, I will create and analyze a map that contains information about mineral deposits and facilities.

Wartime sexual violence (WSV) has been a characteristic of violent conflict throughout recorded history, yet has failed to illicit the same international attention and condemnation as other war crimes. WSV has also been a particularly pervasive method of destruction during genocide, in which women make up the majority of victims and are targeted for both their gender and group membership. However, sexual violence is not enumerated as a crime of genocide in the 1948 Genocide Convention. This client report examines recurring military coups in the Sahel region of Africa and the probability of implications for U.S. interests. We incorporated analysis of terrorist organizations, adversarial involvement in the region, and projected socioeconomic factors in the next three to five years. Our analysis indicates these factors could pose a direct threat to U.S. national security interests. Current U.S. policy prohibits aid distribution to coup governments, increasing the likelihood that Sahelian countries will turn to U.S. adversaries for economic support. This study examines the U.S. Travel Advisory and its economic impact on foreign nations, with a focus on Turkey between 2016 and 2024. Grounded in the theories of functional and asymmetrical interdependence, this approach employs a mixed-methods design, combining quantitative analysis of tourism revenue, GDP, and GNI with qualitative examination of geopolitical events that may raise or lower the Travel Advisory rating. Rather than assuming the advisory acts as a tool of coercive foreign policy, this study tests whether advisory changes meaningfully shape Turkey’s economic performance or whether they simply reflect moments of instability inside the country. The U.S. continuously intervened in Guatemalan domestic politics from 1954 to 1999 without achieving its stated goals of stability, democratization, or development. Although the threat of communism offered an initial justification for U.S. involvement, traditional geopolitical explanations failed to adequately account for the persistence of intervention.

Through the lens of constructivism, this research examines these interventions, with special attention paid to political, economic, and humanitarian factors. It focuses on the American identity as democratic, capitalist, and later, a protector of human rights, and how the need to protect and exhibit that identity motivated the U.S. to intervene.
