Problem: The patient’s daily central line Theraworx baths were not being documented and completed at a mid-Missouri teaching hospital. After completing a retrospective chart review for 2022, 8.35% (n=90) of daily central line Theraworx baths were documented. Daily central line baths decrease central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSI), prolonged hospital stays, and costs.

Many children in the state of Missouri do not have a pediatrician or do not regularly see their pediatrician and are therefore never being screened for FI.

needed for aggressive behavior, due to the potential unwanted outcomes. The purpose of this Quality Improvement (QI) pilot project was to implement an Acute Agitation Intervention Tool that uses the Broset Violence Checklist (BVC) to guide
pharmacological intervention for mild and moderate to severe agitation in pediatric

Breastfeeding is often considered principally a biological issue but success is impacted by the socio-ecological environment of the lactating parent. Identifying current attitudes towards breastfeeding is essential in the effort toward normalizing breastfeeding in communities, including university campuses. The study explored campus community knowledge, awareness, and attitudes about breastfeeding, including available resources and applicable laws on two university campuses in the southern United States.
