Background: Pathological gambling is a non–substance-related addictive disorder, characterized by persistent preoccupation with gambling, impaired control, and continuation despite negative consequences. It is associated with financial losses, social and occupational dysfunction, and psychiatric comorbidities, including affective and substance use disorders. Although international prevalence estimates range from 1–2%, research in India remains limited, particularly with the rise of online gambling.

Methods: We report a case series of three individuals presenting to a tertiary-care psychiatry outpatient department with pathological gambling. Introduction

Learning and mastering the performance of gynecological procedures in a secure and supervised simulation setting is important for learners, especially in the early phases of medical education. This project aims to assess the efficacy of an innovative gynecological task trainer for diverse simulation sessions. Following engagement with the task trainer, learners evaluated their experiences with a comprehensive questionnaire. The results of the survey were scientifically analyzed and interpreted.

In a recent announcement, 12 scholarships totaling $31,000 were awarded, thanks to donor generosity. The Foundation's upcoming Sparkling Smiles Celebration will provide an opportunity to meet scholarship recipients and acknowledge donors. The primary focus in June will be the Mission of Mercy event in Flint, aiming to offer essential dental care to up to 2,000 individuals. Abstract: Accurately monitoring pharmacy inventory in real-time is vital to providing safe and cost-effective medical care at hospitals of any size. At smaller critical access hospitals, in particular, effective inventory management requires solutions to unique problems posed by floorspace, budget, and workflow limitations. In 2022, Providence Health System (PHS) began systemwide implementation of both a standardized inventory management solution (IMS) and an AI-assisted medication ordering software (MOS). Learning anatomy via cadaver dissection is considered a best practice in anatomical education. However, occupational therapy programs commonly use alternative or adjunct teaching methods when teaching anatomy. The purpose of this study was to investigate students’ perceptions of learning hand anatomy through participation in the Dell Hand Instructional Module (DHIM), a novel educational intervention incorporating an animated video series and a translucent, three-dimensional model of the hand. Participants attended one anatomical instructional session and one assessment session, completed a questionnaire about their experiences, and participated in a focus group. Research indicates that female athletes have a higher risk of musculoskeletal injuries. Hormone fluctuations throughout the different periods of the menstruation cycle impacts the risk of injuries for women. Contraceptive use, most used in the form of an oral contraceptive pill, directly effects hormones and menstrual cycle related symptoms, with evidence of ameliorating some symptoms. Because the demands of nursing education can impact the physical and mental health of nursing students, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s revised Essentials require inclusion of self-care and resilience education in nursing curricula. This article describes the development, implementation, and evaluation of a self-care module in a new online undergraduate course. Using the REST mnemonic (relationships, exercise, soul, and transformative thinking), students developed personalized self-care plans for the semester. End-of-course evaluations revealed an increase in self-care activities. The most used activities were exercise, humor, intentional rest, and healthy eating.
