Emotional quotient determine worker’s efficacy, because it could guide the worker’s motivation in their work. Emotional quotient could guide the worker for their maximal performance, learning new skill, working with team, adaptation for changes, challenge and stress. There are relationship between environmental issues and other issues that enclose to the human life. There are two dimensions of Environmental contex, namely: physical spatial context and social context. In fact, anthropogenic activities have serious impacts to the damage of the environment. The relation between environmental issues and poverty is very complex. The World Bank identified three main relations between the degradation of environmental condition and the living condition of poor people, namely: the environmental health, the livelihoods of poor people,and the vulnerability of people living below poverty line.

Chicago's Home For The Aged And Infirm Colored People: A Paradigm For Examining Community Viability Among African-Americans In 20th Century Chicago, Susan C. Reed, Nancy Davis
College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Faculty and Staff Works
For decades. African Americans, faced with enortnoiis exclusion by the majority population, built hundreds of social institutions to provide basic services for their commutiities. The history of the Chicago's Home for Aged and Infirm Colored People illustrates changes in African American leadership in community institutions that coincided with shifting demographic patterns and the rise of the Civil Rights movement. Middle class leaders retnaitied committed to the home after migration accelerated and decreasing membership in women s social clubs diminished available resources. Implications for the historical role of the Black middle-class in sustaining comtnunity institutions are discussed.

Social planning has a long history in social work. It has gone from an early emphasis on community as the modal point to an emphasis on public policy planning at the state and federal levels and recently to an emphasis on organizational issues and initiatives. Social planning has been a primary tool in the long-term development of new institutions and practices brought about by the unprecendented increases in the size of the aged population.
