Masalah penyalahgunaan narkotika adalah masalah nasional, prevalensi pengguna narkotika di Indonesia mencapai 1,77% atau sekitar 3,3 juta orang dengan berbagai tingkat penggunaan (BNN, 2017). Mempertimbangkan besarnya masalah ini, perlu untuk meningkatkan Pencegahan, Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Narkotika oleh semua Kementerian dan Lembaga terkait melalui sinergi berkelanjutan. Untuk mencapai sinergi ini Presiden melalui Instruksi Presiden no. 6/2018 telah memerintahkan berbagai kementerian dan lembaga untuk secara aktif berpartisipasi di Indonesia bebas dari masalah penyalahgunaan narkotika dan salah satunya adalah melalui program rehabilitasi untuk penyalahguna dan pecandu narkotika.

The purpose of this thesis is to determine how different variables can affect a terrorist group's reaction to a targeted leadership strike, known as a decapitation strike. Decapitation strikes often produce unwanted results, such as a splintering of the terrorist group, or a failure to destroy the group. It is important that we understand which variables can lead to a group's destruction after a decapitation strike, to maximize the decapitation's effectiveness. This thesis investigates how and why U.S. policies and agencies are ill-equipped to respond to narco-terrorism and offers some policy recommendations for remedying that. Narco-terrorism is the merging of terrorism and drug trafficking. Terrorist organizations and narcotics traffickers each have much to offer the other; there is potential for symbiosis in the form of cooperation and even hybridization. Examination of the dynamics between terrorist organizations and drug traffickers, combined with an evaluation of the US responses to narcoterrorism in Colombia and Afghanistan, makes it clear that current US policy responses fail to recognize narcoterrorism as a unique challenge, and instead …

Between 1960 and 2010, Professor Miller collected about 720 newspaper reports on witchcraft in East Africa from local sources. Reports for Malawi and Zambia were dropped from this analysis to establish a collection of 521 reports for Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. This database has yet to be fully analyzed, and is made available here for further research and publication in the understanding of witchcraft violence.
