U.S.-born Latinx tend to have greater proximity to the enforcement of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) than their European American, African American, and Asian American counterparts. The purpose of this generic qualitative study was to explore whether and how U.S.-born Latinx young adults experienced discrimination during CBP and ICE investigations, arrests, and deportation during the Trump administration.
