The article deals with a comparative analysis of Alisher Navai’s novel the “Sabai Sayyor” and his first prosaic narrative in the Uzbek literature “Nasri Xamsai benazir”. It focuses on the issues as the restoration of the elements supporting the semantic colorness such as seven novels, seven colors. The comparative analysis of the preservation of the meaningful layer in the prose indicates the peculiarities of both texts. My creative thesis is a 48-page collection of poems titled Table of the Sun. Each poem is an intimate interrogation of varied ecological, romantic, and/or political disasters ranging from the Dakota Access Pipeline, cruel love, and Donald Trump. Some poems are reckonings, and others work to heal trauma, heartache, clinical illness, and supernatural afflictions like those experienced by the Tarantati of Puglia. Some are combative, it's true. Water is everywhere and it is multitudinous as an agent of destruction, cleansing, and transformation, and as a life-giver. A Statistical Approach To Syllabic Alliteration In The Odyssean Aeneid, Cory S. Robinson
Theses and Dissertations
William Clarke (1976) and Nathan Greenberg (1980) offer an objective framework for the study of alliteration in Latin poetry. However, their definition of alliteration as word initial sound repetition in a verse is inconsistent with the syllabic nature both of the device itself and also of the metrical structure. The present study reconciles this disparity in the first half of the Aeneid by applying a similar method to syllable initial sound repetition. A chi-square test for goodness-of-fit reveals that the distributions of the voiceless obstruents [p], [t], [k], [k^w], [f], and [s] and the sonorants [m], [n], [l], and [r] …

Poetry can help students become more sensitive to language. However, in an EFL situation, students may object to learning poetry. Thus, English teachers should know how to use poetry in their teaching. Teachers should also ensure that EFL learners do not feel worried about understanding poetry, as not all poems are difficult. Moreover, what matters most is learning English through poems rather than learning about the poems themselves. In short, it is suggested that EFL teachers encourage learners to explore poems and write their own. Poetry provides abundant language exposure that improves students’ language sensitivity and creativity in using English.

Syntacticians generally focus on prose texts of a language when studying word order rather than examining poetry. The general consensus is that the stylization of poetry exercises too great an influence on the text to allow for regular word order. In their study of pragmatics, particularly in obsolete languages, Herring (2000) and Hock (2000) demonstrate that even in poetry syntactic patterns can be seen in different genres or text types. Herring's contention in Old Tamil poetry is that the more poetic the genre, the more word order variation can be expected. By the same token, the more informational the genre, …
