Introduction: The need to be computer literate is very essential with the exponential growth of information technology in every aspect of human life. To cope up with the rapid integration of information technology in day to day life, the competencies to computer literacy and efficient usage of computers is much more needed. The purpose of the study was to assess the computer literacy among the Below Poverty Line (BPL) community of Malda district for their compliance to IFLA information literacy model and its need.
