Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the barriers to using information technology in the education of librarian students of Tehran Iran Azad University. The purpose of this study is an applied descriptive survey. The statistical population of this study includes all students studying at Tehran Azad University. Based on Cochran's formula, 107 people were selected based on stratified random sampling criteria and the required information was collected through a researcher-made questionnaire with 27 items.

The study utilized quantitative method of research to determine the level of knowledge and skills of academic librarians in Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines on the five domains of research and the challenges they encountered relative to research writing. It also employed non-parametric Friedman test to determine the significant difference of librarians’ knowledge and skills across the five domains of research. Results revealed that the academic librarians had proficient knowledge in conceptualizing research problems, reviewing related literature and studies, and summarizing and formulating conclusions and recommendations while their level of knowledge in identifying appropriate research and writing analysis and interpretation of data …

Most doctoral students are required to produce a dissertation that makes an original contribution to their field of study in order to fulfill their degree requirements. The scholarly nature of this requirement informs how students and faculty approach doctoral research, but universities often treat the dissertations themselves merely as student records, not scholarly contributions. Librarians, however, are uniquely situated to work with graduate students as emerging participants in the scholarly communication ecosystem and help them prepare their dissertations for an outside audience. This study has made an attempt to analysis the engineering college faculty members use of electronic resources and its impact of academic growth in Namakkal district in Tamilnadu. Based on the aim, survey method is applied and standard, structured and pretested questionnaire as a tool of this study. Percentage analysis, one-way ANOVA and post-host statistical tools are used for data analysis. Pie and bar charts also used for data representation. 1070 fully filled questionnaires received from the respondents. Thirty Years Research Output On Rural Women Entrepreneurship: A Bibliometric Analysis Of Publications (1989-2018), Seema Parmar, Suman Ghalawat

The present study is an effort to highlights the growth of literature on rural women entrepreneurship from 1989 to 2018. Data was taken from a leading indexing database Scopus. A total number of 188 articles on the topic were explored in different type of published documents. The results shows that research output on rural women entrepreneurship was increased gradually from 7 in 2011 to 16 in 2015 and 25 in 2018. This article describes an active-learning exercise intended to help teach copyright, fair use, and Creative Commons licenses. In the exercise students use a worksheet to draw original pictures, create derivative pictures on tracing paper, select Creative Commons licenses, and explore commercial usage, fair use, and copyright infringement. Librarian-instructors may find the completed worksheets to be useful aids to supplement copyright lectures; student perspectives will be integral because they are generating the examples used in discussion. The objectives of this study were twofold. First, it investigated the impact of knowledge sharing (KS) on job satisfaction (JS), second, this study examined the role of demographic variables (gender, age, designation, qualification, and experience) between KS-JS relationship. A cross-sectional survey questionnaire was used to collect data from 274 currently working university librarians in Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized universities of Pakistan. The collected data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22 by applying relevant descriptive and inferential statistics.
