While many librarians have developed mechanisms and structures for managing local scholarship separate from their standard resource management practices, the intersection of the two content streams is occurring at many institutions.
During the past decade, the presenters have dedicated themselves to capturing best practices of electronic resource management and mapping out paths for creating open access workflows. This study seeks to determine which ALA-accredited institutions offer digital preservation courses and analyze the syllabi to identify what is being taught about digital preservation, whether there are any commonalities, and evaluate the curriculum according to the five areas of digital preservation as outlined by the National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA).
