This study aims to analyze the implementation of archival policies in the Directorate General of Regional Autonomy, Ministry of Home Affairs (Ditjen Otonomi Daerah Kemendagri). This research was conducted using a postpositivist approach and qualitative data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that almost all the variables of policy implementation support the archival implementation at the Directorate General of Regional Autonomy. The University of Indonesia library experienced a budget reduction and a change in procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Japan is no longer a rich country. The poverty rate for “a single adult household with at least one child” is the third highest among the 44 countries of OECD. Public libraries should provide study-aid books, workbooks, and IT equipment to poor students. Based of this idea, we first identified 129 study-aid books and workbooks for junior high and high school students. Next, we investigated whether public libraries of all 1,392 Japanese local governments held them. During Spring 2021, eight students at the University of the Pacific participated in an internship where they performed a DEI audit of the library's book and music score collection. An internship is one documented type of High-Impact Practices and research studies show that High-Impact Practices lead to higher retention and graduation rates. Deep learning occurred as student interns participated in developing the methodology, evaluating book and music score collections, reading assigned articles pertaining to DEI in librarianship and publishing, and providing recommendations on closing identified collection gaps. Belmont University was chosen to host the final presidential debate of the 2020 election. Undeterred by even the COVID-19 pandemic, administration was determined to forge ahead with holding this historic event at Belmont. They formed a committee to document the event and archive its materials. As IR managers, we thanked our lucky stars for this huge opportunity and potential spotlight for our relatively unheralded IR. IMSA students exhibit a high degree of creativity when they design tee-shirts, like the one for Harambee, or Jazz Band, or Senior Class club. And then there are sports uniforms. Did you know that one of the early teams had a corduroy baseball cap. All are part of the Archives’ extensive collection of IMSA apparel club, including Class Club tee-shirts, former sports uniforms and hats, and even an apron used by a member of the faculty serving breakfast to the seniors on the morning of graduation day. This exhibit includes that apron, some tee-shirts, and hats including the corduroy one.
