This paper presents Library Media Teachers’ (LMT) perspective on student motivation and performance towards the use of School Resource Centre (SRC) for academic purposes. Five LMT from five different schools in Klang Valley, Malaysia were involved in this study. The five schools were selected based on the 5-star rated SRC based on Smart School Qualification Standard (SSQS) rating. The LMT were interviewed individually in order to understand their perspective on the student performance and motivation towards the use of the SRC. Games-based learning is a new concept that is used for teaching information literacy skills, which so far has been mostly given in classrooms and is one-way. The respondents taken were all new students participating in games-based learning activities, in 2018. In the implementation of games-based learning divided into 5 posts, where each post represents one information literacy skill material. This article discusses about information seeking behavior of 12th grade students of SMA Negeri 26 Jakarta to pursue higher education. This article also discusses obstacles found during the process of information searching. This is a qualitative research with observation and interview as methods to collect data. The result shows that all informants conducted searching about higher education in the same way with what was stated by David Ellis (1993) started with starting, chaining, browsing, differentiating, monitoring, extracting, verifying, and ending.

This article describes the distinct of privacy and security issues that are simultaneously operant in the KMS practices. It identifies several perceptions of privacy and security issues in the company’s KMS settings. By studying the perspective, authors provide a conceptual directions to the fog of misunderstandings around privacy and security in company’s KMS settings. An exploratory sequential mixed method research design was adopted. A questionnaire survey was administered by authors personally handing to KM staff in three companies, followed by semi-structure interviews with four KM staff. This research discusses Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance Library’s promotional effectiveness in making users intrigued to utilize the library. This study aims to discover the library’s promotional effectiveness level based on overall promotional mix concepts consisted of six sub-variables. Those six sub-variables include personal selling, advertising, sales promotion, public relation and publicity, learning materials, and corporate design sub-variables. It is quantitative research by using a survey method. The survey was conducted on 100 respondents with a convenience sampling technique. This study aims to identify and analyze the availability collections of Library Center of IAIN Surakarta, and the factors that influence the availability of materials teaching for Islamic Counseling and Guidance Study Programme. This research is a qualitative and quantitative methode. Data analysis was carried out using the checklist and interview. Based on the research, 49,5% availability collections for institute level courses, and 44.7% for departement level. This study identifies the students’ reading interest of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Depok Baru, West Java. This research uses a quantitative research approach with descriptive method. The data was collected by using survey. The results showed that students have their own reading interest. Their favorite genre of reading materials includes religious stories, comic, and short novels. The findings suggest that parents need to introduce another reading material variation such as newspapers. Parents are also encouraged to supervise their children while reading comic.

This study discusses the user attitudes in handling library materials. The study was conducted at the library of University of Indonesia. This research uses qualitative approach with case study. The data was collected by conducting observation, interview, and document analysis. The finding shows there are some of book mutilation and vandalism activities caused by users. This study suggests that the library needs to conduct a user preservation education program to prevent vandalism.
