Kentucky newspapers are a valuable research option with many articles about the history of the state, as well as national and international news. This presentation was brief overview of the Kentucky Newspaper Digital Program [KDNP] and its development over many years. KDNP provides patrons access to the hundreds of Kentucky newspaper titles. Many of these titles are available full-text online via the University of Kentucky Library catalog. The weekly history vignettes are based on Kentucky newspaper articles and cover a wide range of topics. They are online at the KDNP Facebook site.

The study examined the relationship that exists between academic resilience and information literacy self-efficacy among final year pre-service school librarians in a selected University in Nigeria. This study adopted the correlational survey research design. Through multistage sampling technique, 60 final year students of Library and Information science were selected. The questionnaires such as Academic Resilience Scale (ARS) and Information Literacy Self-Efficacy Scale (ILSES) were used to collect data. Linear regression was used to test the null hypotheses. The correlation coefficient of R=0.601 shows that there was a moderate positive association between academic resilience and information literacy self-efficacy. The regression of …

The study attempts to examine the use of library resources and services among U.G. students in Paramakalyani College Library, Alwarkurichi. The questionnaire was used as the core research instrument.140 copies of the questionnaire were circulated to the students; the return rate was 80%. The significant findings were; that the majority of the U.G. students use the library regularly. Their primary purpose in visiting the library is to consult research materials. They were also satisfied with the library services. Suggestions were offered to improve the library service.

To better present the Curriculum Materials Center (CMC) materials at the University of Central Florida and improve access to these materials for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), the librarians from Cataloging, CMC and Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Services (ILL/DDS) undertook a project to analyze the bibliographic records of juvenile biographies and used the results to enhance subject headings with biographees’ gender, race and other information.

Dynamically transitioning between individual and collaborative learning has been hypothesized to have positive effects, such as providing the optimal learning mode based on students’ needs. There are, however, challenges in orchestrating these transitions in real-time while managing a classroom of students. AI-based orchestration tools have the potential to alleviate some of the orchestration load for teachers. This study assessed awareness of farmers on agricultural information services in Mara region in Tanzania. Quantitative approach was adopted and data collection used single structured questionnaire. Awareness scales measured three factors; awareness knowledge; agricultural information needs and lastly use of ICTs in accessing agricultural information services. The results indicated that majority (93.2%; 280) of respondents had little knowledge of awareness, (91.3%; 272) of the response, needed improved seed varieties and the average, (60%; 180) of respondents have low use of ICT in accessing agricultural information services. Three research questions were answered and three null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. Despite the fact that scholarship and knowledge about sex and sexuality have grown enormously in the last century, these topics in the Library of Congress Classification (LCC) schedules have remained stagnant, particularly in the HQ schedule (a classification subclass), entitled “The Family. Marriage. Women.” In this schedule, multiple structural issues in organization and placement of topics demonstrate a deeply sex negative attitude that has seen relatively little change in over a century.
