Over the past several years law librarians have become increasingly involved not only with their institutional repositories but also with automating aspects of their workflows for all sorts of common tasks related to faculty scholarship, law reviews, and more. In this sandbox John will share his story, share a wealth of resources for other librarians interested in learning to code as it relates to their roles with their IR, and engage in conversations with attendees to illustrate the variety of paths librarians have taken to develop this unique skill set.

The purpose of this research is to look at the website analysis of the 43 Indian institutions (IIT and IIM). The research focused on webometric analysis, which looked at the domain name, domain age, external and internal linkages, as well as all three types of web effects on all responder websites. The study also looks at how stakeholders from both inside and outside the country use websites. The goal of this study is to look into the webometric elements of India's all IIT and IIM institutions. Utilization Of Print Vs. E-Resources In Selected Academic Resource Centre Of Ahmedabad, Dr. Rakesh Parmar, Tosha A. Patel, Dr.Chetan D. Parmar

The goal of this study is to examine the data on how people use print and electronic resources. Users' preferences for both resources were measured using a questionnaire technique in the research. A sample of three university libraries in Ahmedabad received the survey. Descriptive and instructive research is conducted on the usage of resources, resource preferences, Internet use, browsers and search engines, databases for e-resource acquisition, and so on. The majority of students are aware of both sites, and their preferences for both are excellent. However, the majority of them want electronic resources.

In this paper 190 contribution were analysed from “Annals of Library & Information Science” published during 2015 to 2020. The data collection was done by downloading the articles from the website of the journal. It examined year wise & Volume wise distribution of articles, authorship pattern, state wise distribution of contributions, length of the articles, references etc. A total of 190 articles have published by 349 authors during this period of time. The Carpentries is a global community teaching data science and computational skills to librarians, researchers in academia, industry and government. The various initiatives include Library Carpentry, Data Carpentry and Software Carpentry. Organisations interested in upskilling their staff may conduct Carpentries workshops based on openly available lesson materials and customise the content according to their needs and audiences.

The motivations of setting up an IR were to dissemination the research output through open access, to promote the university and researchers, and to help increase their research impact. When paradigm-shifting events like the COVID-19 pandemic disrupt planning, as usual, libraries must rethink how they conduct traditional marketing and outreach activities like new student orientations. At Trinity University’s Coates Library, the traditional in-person orientation shifted to an asynchronous, online format. This article will detail how this change led to the development of new and reusable digital content for sustainable teaching and outreach, prioritized accessibility, and offered an alternative means of program assessment. Further, these changes provided an opportunity to reexamine some of the library’s previous goals and methods for first-year student outreach.

Comics Plus offers subscribers a digital library of comics, manga, and graphic novels licensed from more than 100 different publishers, including such indie gems as IDW, Boom Studios, Dark Horse, and Kodansha Comics. Its all-access package includes more than 20,000 titles, about 14,000 of which are appropriate for K-12 readers. Granular title control gives admins the power to customize Comics Plus to suit the readers they serve. But some titles aren’t included at all, namely the best-selling books of the industry’s top players. Comics Plus may someday persuade these publishers––Marvel, DC, Image, and VIZ Media––to play ball. Archivists aim to make research and manuscripts accessible to the public. However, accessibility becomes tricky when donors or institutions enforce limitations. Sometimes limitations need to be enforced, especially when dealing with sensitive information such as personally identifiable information (PII), unpublished works, and student records. Redactions and restrictions may be necessary in these situations, but archives find this difficult to accomplish because of the size of the collections, results from previous accession practices, and the lack of staff and resources.
