The purpose of this study is to examine school teachers’ information needs, their satisfaction, purposes of information and the relationship between some selected factors and the information needs.The population of the study consisted of school teachers in government schools in Sri Lanka. The sample consisted with 440 teachers and cluster sampling method was applied for the sample selection. Design/Methodology/Approach – The data is collected through a well-structured questionnaire from the research scholars of library and information science.

Findings- the study reveals that all the researchers of library and information science are aware about the availability of e-journals.
