Linked data has been explored and adopted by the library and archive community in recent years, but it has remained a relatively high bar to implement for most librarians and catalogers in their daily work. To lower the barrier, the librarians at the University of Central Florida (UCF) Libraries have adopted open source tools and platforms such as OpenRefine and Wikidata to their workflows to include linked data for their collections in the digital repositories as well as the library catalog. This paper investigated the pattern of information needs and seeking behavior of final year students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, for consecutive three academic sessions; 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016. A questionnaire instrument was designed and administered to 5885 final year students in the six schools for the three consecutive academic sessions. The sample sizes of respondents were selected within and across the six (6) schools per academic session at the University using stratified sampling technique with proportional allocation. 5767 questionnaire representing 98% were returned in a usable form. Citations of doctoral theses in library and information science, submitted to the School of Post-graduate Studies (SPGS), University of Maiduguri between 2014 and 2018 were analysed for the following variables, viz; bibliographical format of literature cited, age of publications cited and a ranked list of journal titles cited. Bibliometric techniques were used in the analysis, which involves counting and categorizing references cited for each of the following; textbooks and monographs, journal articles, theses and dissertations, conference proceedings, unpublished sources, reports, newsletters and online sources, journal articles cited, and examinations of the age of publications cited. Presented to Dominican University of California faculty and staff, on November 27, 2018, by Ethan Annis. It explores the role of academic libraries and academic librarians at a time when print book borrowing and reference questions have both declined by about 75%. During the same period, libraries' gate counts, usage of digital resources, the prevalence of predatory academic journals and the number of engagements with fake news have all increased. The presenter proposes that libraries decrease space devoted to stacks and librarians teach students to distinguish between reliable, empirically based information and fiction. The purpose of this research is to identify the information needs of fisherman in Kaliadem, Muara Angke, Indonesia and their source of information. The paper use quantitative approach by distributing the questionnaire to collect the data. Since some of the fishermen were illiterate, researchers then assisted the fishermen to fill the questionnaire by reading out the without influencing the responses. The questionnaire is provided and told in Indonesian language (bahasa Indonesia). The research setting is Kaliadem fishing village, located in the province of Jakarta. This study intends to determine the circulation trends of newly acquired print materials in the a university library in Northern Philippines Libraries. The data gathered from the Follett Destiny Library System of the University Libraries to determine the circulation trends of materials which purchased on the year 2014-2017. The total number of purchased title is 3002.Based on the result, the materials from General Interest/ Fiction/Graphic novels has the highest books circulated. The Anchor: 2019

The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). In recent years The Anchor moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. The Anchor is now published in print twice per academic semester. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.

In 2016, Utah State University (USU) Libraries redesigned the library website’s main menu and underlying information architecture (IA) in response to a number of known usability problems and limitations. Card sorting studies were conducted with a group of USU undergraduate students and a mixed group of faculty and graduate students to help develop a better understanding of users’ mental models of library-related research and service tasks. Participants worked in teams to sort, rank and label cards pertaining to the content and feature of the library’s website.
