Research Trends In Knowledge Management Seen Through Web Of Science: A Bibliometric Analysis, Sankha Subhra Das, Arpita Roy Chowdhury, P Balasubramanian

The study presents the trends of research in Knowledge Management during 2014-2018. The data has been extracted from the Web of Science database on the affiliation of basic search. The research output has been derived on the basis of 963 publications receiving 4148 citations with a 4.87 percent average citation per paper. The authorship pattern was dominated by two authors securing 35.099% and collaboration co-efficient of 0.488. The country-wise publication was dominated by the United States contributing 159 papers. The day-to-day increasing costs of petrol and diesel and to control the air pollution makes an impact to do a scientometric analysis on the research ouput on “Electric Car”. Therefore, the research publications indexed in Web of Science for 28 years have been downloaded from 1991 to 2018 for the analysis. Comprehensive library automation is a prerequisite for resource sharing initiatives like Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services in a cooperative environment. Shared library management system and a union catalogue enhance visibility to information resources available at networked libraries. Availability of IT infrastructure, skilled persons, the popularity of Koha and statewide mobile and Internet connectivity are favourable factors to build an ecosystem for resource sharing among academic libraries in Kerala state. A regional cooperative network for libraries ensures optimum utilisation of fund and maximum availability of resources. This article proposes a statewide ILL system for universities and colleges in Kerala state.

The population of the study is post graduate students in University of Port Harcourt, totalling 1,264. The simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample. This study investigated the incidence of job-related stress and how it affects job performance of librarians and library officers. Three universities in Lagos State, Nigeria were selected for the study. The work puts forward an application where the system allows employers to post new job offerings and registered candidates can apply. The application estimates applicant’s emotional aptitude through a psychometric analysis based on a test whereas the professional standard is verified via a technical aptitude test.
