The paper overtly and comprehensively presents the awareness of Plagiarism among Post Graduate Students and Research Scholars of two prominent universities viz. Jawaharlal Nehru University and University of Delhi, Delhi. The study employed the survey research methodology and a structured questionnaire was designed keeping in view the stated objectives and was distributed questionnaires among the users in each library and got a total of 296 responses from both library users. Systematic random and purposive sampling procedures were used to obtain a total of 292 respondents and 8 key informants. A structured questionnaire, in depth interview and secondary data were used to collect quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data were analyzed by using SPSS version 22 and qualitative data were analyzed by using content analysis. This paper outlines the significance of the pilot study in determining the feasibility of the main study, i.e., the role of the public libraries in citizenship information, and entails pre-testing the measuring tool (questionnaire). In the pilot study, 25 items were assessed on 27 subjects, and internal reliability was determined using Cronbach’s Alpha. The Alpha was found to be 0.78, indicating acceptable consistency of the measuring tool. (questionnaire). The main goal of this study was to look into the information literacy (skills and standards) of English Language majors at Sargodha University. A total of 160 undergraduates, both men, and women, took part in the research. To get to their end goal, researchers had to fill out a questionnaire created by Mittermeyer and Quirion (2003). The results of this study showed that undergraduates at UOS don't know enough about how to use information.
