System Branding In Three Public Libraries: Live Oak Public Libraries, Charlotte Mecklenberg Library, And Richland Library, Patrick Roughen

This research examines the development of the system brands of three public libraries: Live Oak Public Libraries, Richland Library, and Charlotte Mecklenberg Library. A system brand may be defined as the overall brand of a library system, as opposed to any of its sub-brands, such as those associated with individual library services, branches, departments, and events. Using a descriptive, case study approach, this research characterizes the efforts behind branding in these library systems.

The study examined the Information needs and seeking behaviour of masters student at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria using Elis information seeking behaviour model. A total of 125 masters students selected from the three departments offering masters degree programme at the faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria constituted the population of the study. Abstract
This bibliometric study was designed to analyze the scholarly publications of librarians in Universities in Nigeria from 2000-2012. It was guided by six objectives and two null-hypotheses. The study covered 16 Universities located in the seven states of the North -West, Nigeria while the publications analyzed were journal articles, chapters in books, books, conference proceedings etc published by the librarians in the study area. The research design was descriptive survey method using bibliometric technique. One hundred and sixty five (165) librarians was the population purposively taken for the study. Abstract
This study investigates computer self-efficacy and perceived ease-of- use of personal digital assistants for academic activities by undergraduates in University of Ibadan. Relevant literature on academic activities of undergraduates, undergraduates Computer Self-efficacy, perceived ease-of-use of personal digital assistant and the challenges faced by undergraduates in the use of Personal Digital Assistant was reviewed. The descriptive survey research design of expo-factor was adopted for this study. The main objective of this survey was to know young adults’ perceptions and use of public libraries in Sabzevar, Iran. Research population included students aged 12 to 15 who were public library members and were using public library services several times in a year. This study examines the constructs of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In this study, a canonical correlation analysis (CCA) was used to estimate relationships between identified dimensions of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study examined the corporate social responsibility intervention in the development of digital libraries in the universities of developing countries. It specifically investigated the challenges facing the MTN Foundation Digital Libraries in the universities in Nigeria and strategies that will engender their effective operation. Science map is a useful tool to understand the structure of a discipline, research networks and collaborations. Wildlife forensics is an emerging field of Forensic Sciences, where science is applied to legal cases involving wildlife. This study is aimed at creating science maps of Wildlife Forensics, both at global level and regional (i.e. India) level using PubMed database. A total of 303 records pertaining to global and 29 records pertaining to India published between 2001 and 2015 are obtained from the PubMed.
