Journals which have been indexed in universal citation databases can introduce their countries’ scientific productions to the world’ scientific communications. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate Iranian Medical English Journals (IMEJ) based on Scopus’ journal selection criteria. This is a descriptive quantitative study which deals with the last issues of 52 numbers of IMEJ which have not been indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed. The focus of this paper is on the effect of library services on the educational development of secondary school students in Abia State, Nigeria. The study investigated the only government-owned secondary school in Igbere Community of Bende Local Government Area of Abia State. The present study compares use of assistive technology for the visually challenged students provided by the special schools in the Medinipur division under the Districts of Bankura, Purulia, Paschim Medinipur, Jhargram and Purba Medinipur and that of the special schools in the Burdwan division under the districts of Birbhum, Purba Bardhaman, Paschim Bardhaman and Hooghly for providing services to the visually challenged students of secondary and higher secondary level. This study surveyed the challenges faced by the university libraries in South East Nigeria in selecting and acquiring electronic resources. The descriptive survey research method was adopted for the study. The population consisted of 86. Questionnaire and interview were used for data collection. Data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using simple statistics (mean). The findings revealed that the university libraries under study had considered all the thirteen criteria when selecting electronic resources in the library which had mean values ranging from 2.70 to 3.41 and are all above the cut-off point of 2.50 on a 4-point rating scale. The purpose of this paper is to ascertain the awareness and use of cloud computing technologies among the library professionals in the Kerala University Library system, India. A survey was conducted using questionnaire among the 102 library professionals employed in the central and departmental libraries of the University of Kerala. The study revealed that 42.16% of the library professionals did not have much idea about cloud computing technology. The paper examined the effect of mentoring practices and years of work experience on job performance of cataloguers in Nigerian libraries. The focus of the study was to ascertain the level of users’ satisfaction with library resources in five (5) public Colleges of Education in Ghana. The survey method was employed and questionnaire was used as the main data collection instrument. Multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 368 respondents. The findings indicated that users were satisfied with the physical facilities of the libraries. However, the libraries generally lacked computer and internet facilities. Users were also dissatisfied with the library collections and services. The study recommends provision of updated collections, quality service delivery to enhance user satisfaction.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of library services quality on achievement motivation associated with the learning achievement of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA) student. This research is conducted in Undiksha students using ex-post facto method. The sampling is done through random sampling method with 350 students. The data on library services quality and achievement motivation are collected using questionnaire. The data are analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). San Jose State University Library, along with all California State University (CSU) libraries, recently migrated to ExLibris’ Alma and Primo, going live with our unified CSU library system in 2017. One of our most anticipated Alma features is the ability to export invoices from Alma into the campus PeopleSoft financial systems (ERPs). A team of systems and acquisitions staff from several campuses developed an integration plan that could be adapted for use by all our CSU libraries. Several libraries have now successfully implemented this process, improving their invoice workflow efficiency.

This study investigates practitioners’ involvement in Evidence-Based Library and Information Practice (EBLIP) at an academic library. Through focus group interviews, the study reveals that most of the evidence-bases decisions in academic library practice are considered “Know-what (works)” and serve the “instrumental” purpose, seeking to determine what actions will lead to desired outcomes in addressing a specific problem. Objective: Investigating the role of social networks in the scientific exchanges of librarians of the public libraries of Kerman province in 2017.
Design and setting: The tool was the standard questionnaire"The Role of Social Networking in the Academic Exchange of Librarians".The statistical population was librarians working in the public libraries of Kerman province,whom were designated as 125 participants by a census method. Questionnaires were distributed between librarians in spring 2017 and analyzed by SPSS21, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA.
