Interrelationship Between Librarians' Level Of Knowledge Of Information Technologies And Their Attitudes In Applying These Technologies In Libraries, Muhammad Ramzan Dr

The paper presents librarians’ attitudes toward information technology, their level of knowledge in IT, and their relationship with each other. Secondary data was collected through review of the relevant literature. Primary data was collected through a questionnaire survey of 244 librarians of libraries in Pakistan. The study revealed that awareness of the potential of IT, recency of attaining professional qualifications, and knowledge in IT had a significant relationship with librarians’ attitudes. The study also revealed that librarians’ level of knowledge in technology is a good predictor of their attitude toward application of information technology in libraries. Based on the findings, …

This study aimed to assess the value of Korean school library research by comparing Korean and international research on school libraries. To conduct this research, records of international papers indexed by Scopus and domestic papers indexed by the Korean Citation Index (KCI) on school libraries were downloaded. These records were analyzed and compared in terms of publication trends, journals, and author keywords. Approximately, four Korean LIS journals collectively published 39% more papers than the international journals indexed by Scopus, suggesting the substantial contributions made by Korean researchonschool libraries. This study aimed at elaborating barriers to publication perceived by doctoral (Ph.D.) students from Malaysian universities. We interviewed 7 Ph.D. students from 3 Malaysian universities. Besides, we also distributed a survey instrument to 125 participants who attended doctoral programs in 12 Malaysian universities. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the interview data. Meanwhile, descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA were applied for the survey data analysis. Purpose – The main purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyze the web contents, and navigational strengths of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) library websites using standard evaluation criteria followed globally and to give suitable suggestions for improving/upgrading their library websites.
Design/methodology/approach – Survey of 18 IIT library websites in India based on a 100-items checklist. The IIT library websites were checked and evaluated during August 2019 and again verified between the periods of 10th September – 25th September 2019.

The study aims to know the knowledge of Library resources and services among St. Xavier's college students. The questionnaire method was used for data collection. Keeping in view the objectives of the study well-structured questionnaire was prepared and distributed to St. Xavier's college students. This paper was conducted to evaluate digital library services of virtual faculties of Medical Universities in Iran from the perspective of graduate students of e-learning. This study was an applied survey conducted among graduate students studying in the virtual centers in Ministry of Health and Medical Education and Ministry of Science Research and Technology in 2017-2018. The instrument of the study was a questionnaire, the inter-item reliability of which was measured, by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.90). The present study is conducted to identify the prevailing citation trends, durability of web citations or URLs, decay and half-life of URLs by analyzing articles’ citations of Indian Journal of Agricultural Library and Information Services published during 2012 -2016. A total of 980 citations were reported in 94 articles out of which 33.16 percent were having web citations. Of web citations, 62.15 percent of URLs were accessible at the time of testing and the remaining 37.85 percent of URLs were not accessible. ABSTRACT
The study investigated the influence of Library Information Resources and Services on Research Productivity of Agricultural Scientists in Agricultural Institutions in Benue State. Seven purposes with corresponding research questions guided the study and two hypotheses were formulated. The study adopted survey research design. The population for the study comprises of 242 Agricultural Scientists in Agricultural Institutions in Benue. The sample size for the study was 151 Agricultural Scientists by using proportionate stratified and simple random sampling techniques. This research discusses the process of knowledge sharing at World Wildlife Fund for Nature Indonesia (WWF Indonesia). The purposes of this research were to describe the processes, driving factors, and barriers that influence the knowledge sharing in WWF Indonesia. This research was a qualitative study with a case study as method. The results of this study indicate that the process of knowledge sharing in WWF Indonesia is divided into three processes; the first process is identification, the second process is the assessment of the availability of knowledge, and the last process is the creation of knowledge sharing programs. Abstract
Insurance practitioners need information for their daily work activities, especially decision-making and way of implementing the decisions for organizational sources. Several studies have been carried out on information variables (information accessibility, availability and information) in academic institutions and libraries but few on insurance practitioners in Ibadan.
