This issue of Library Technology Reports (vol. 55, no. 8), “Blockchain in Libraries,” examines the application of blockchain in libraries. Blockchain technology has the ability to transform how libraries provide services and organize information. To date, most of these applications are still in the conceptual stage. This paper aims to analyze the pollution control research publications by the Indian contributions from the scopus online database between 2007 and 2018 with 33084 research publications. Out of that, 1997 publications are contributed by India. This study examine the year wise growth of research publications, relative growth rate and doubling time, bibliographic form of publications, top 10 country wise contributions and authorship pattern. During the study period, maximum of 226(0.68%) publications are contributed in the year 2018. Activity index ranges between 79.89 and 121.86 during the study period. An analysis of 241 papers published in Malaysian Journal of Library and Information Science during 2007-2018 indicates that the number of papers published as well as the reference per paper has increased in later years as compared to the initial years. The share of single authored papers decreased and multi-authored papers increased during the second block of 2013-2018. Malaysia, the country of origin of the journal published highest number of papers. However, the value of Citation per Paper (CPP) was highest for UK. The study presents the trends of research in Knowledge Management during 2014-2018. The data has been extracted from the Web of Science database on the affiliation of basic search. The research output has been derived on the basis of 963 publications receiving 4148 citations with a 4.87 percent average citation per paper. The authorship pattern was dominated by two authors securing 35.099% and collaboration co-efficient of 0.488. The country-wise publication was dominated by the United States contributing 159 papers. The day-to-day increasing costs of petrol and diesel and to control the air pollution makes an impact to do a scientometric analysis on the research ouput on “Electric Car”. Therefore, the research publications indexed in Web of Science for 28 years have been downloaded from 1991 to 2018 for the analysis. Comprehensive library automation is a prerequisite for resource sharing initiatives like Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services in a cooperative environment. Shared library management system and a union catalogue enhance visibility to information resources available at networked libraries. Availability of IT infrastructure, skilled persons, the popularity of Koha and statewide mobile and Internet connectivity are favourable factors to build an ecosystem for resource sharing among academic libraries in Kerala state. A regional cooperative network for libraries ensures optimum utilisation of fund and maximum availability of resources. This article proposes a statewide ILL system for universities and colleges in Kerala state.

This study investigated the incidence of job-related stress and how it affects job performance of librarians and library officers. Three universities in Lagos State, Nigeria were selected for the study. The study adopted a survey method and questionnaire was used to gather data from 86 librarians and library officers from the university libraries. The study revealed that job-related stress is prevalent among the librarians and library officers. The article sought to examine the causes, symptoms and reducing strategies of technostress among the library professionals of the selected Private College Libraries in North Bengal. The descriptive survey method was employed using the questionnaire to collect data from the 52 respondents in ten higher education institutions in the northern region of West Bengal. The gathered data were analyzed by using the Likert scale and mean value calculation. The findings of the investigation show that library professionals experience technostress to a great extent.
