The aim of the present study was to explore the research trends in the field of “literacy”. From 1917 to June 2020, 3,35,893 documents were found by using “all fields” in Scopus. To explore the overall trend (of the 3,35,893 publications) we selected 9,52,642 keywords for categorization. Later we selected 32, 020 publications which represented the “literacy” word in only titles of the research documents. From these publications 74, 624 words were analyzed and arranged in eight (8) categories i.e., humans and subjects (43%), education (17%), literacy (8%), health (7%), information technology (6%), types of illiteracies (4%) and countries (3%). …

The study examined mentoring and employee motivation as a determinant of job productivity of library personnel, given the increasing importance and need for library personnel in providing effective and efficient information service delivery. In this ever-changing need of library users, it is necessary to examine what determines the job productivity of library personnel. A survey design was adopted for this study. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the impact of the problem-based learning model’s implementation and thinking styles on information literacy skill improvement among Islamic Education Department students. This paper uses a qualitative methodology to explore the perceptions of academic librarian on the definition of lifelong learning and their roles in supporting lifelong learning. Existing research on the topic was aligned to the emergent educational model of heutagogy to identify key concepts including self-directed learning, learner agency, and the impact of technology. Given the wide-ranging influence of the internet on people in this digital age and the extensive reliance of young people on internet-enabled mobile devices, our study aimed to assess the pattern of online health information seeking behavior among undergraduate students in a Nigerian private university. Employing the cross-sectional survey design and purposive sampling technique, three hundred and four (304) undergraduates took part in the study. The Library at the University of Dayton had incredible virtual programming success during the 2020-21 academic year with trendy information literacy topics and interactive content related to history, archives, special collections, art, and even a library tour. Most of the eight LibWizard programs this academic year were available to students for 30 days or less; they had over 7,221 total participants. Student feedback showed positive engagement with the module-based learning compared to other programs available. One student even said, "I LOVE the format of the library modules, so user-friendly and easy to follow!"

During the Trump presidency, “fake news” was a term often used as a synonym for “news that comes to a conclusion that I disagree with.” The focus of this session is not fake news, but rather how to spot the news misinformation and disinformation that students are so vulnerable to.
