Restructuring And Upgradation Of The Dspace-Based Institutional Repository Of Cept University Library: A Case Study, Namrata Dobariya, Gayatri Doctor Dr.

Purpose: This paper aims to present a strategic overview of the restructuring of the CEPT repository structure, maintaining and upgrading its software for continuous access improved services.

Method: The process of restructuring and upgrading CEPT University Library's repository to DSpace 7 involved identifying the need for technical proficiency, establishing a new server, configuring the repository, migrating existing data while preparing metadata. Furthermore, data in the new storage hierarchy was restructured, and SSL integration with Shibboleth was implemented.

Result: The paper highlights the benefits and outcomes of the restructuring process, emphasizing the enhanced accessibility, discoverability, and preservation of scholarly works.

Despite growing interest in applying human-centred design methods to create learning analytics (LA) systems, most efforts have concentrated on initial design phases, with limited exploration of how LA tools and practices can coevolve during the actual learning and teaching activities. This paper examines how a human-centred LA dashboard can be further refined and adapted by teachers while actively using it in a real-world scenario (i.e., design-in-use), beyond its intended design (i.e., design-for-use). Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines include various programming needs across institutional levels. In high school settings, STEM programs are designed to encourage critical thinking and interest in STEM careers. At postsecondary institutions, STEM disciplines allow students to earn credentials to enter different career sectors. However, some STEM educators are transforming how they perceive their discipline by incorporating innovative practices into their work. Instructional materials (i.e., textbooks, lab manuals, and other ancillary materials) allow educators to diversify their teaching style. Whether you’re new to generative AI or a seasoned ChatGPT user, this session will give you the tools to facilitate peer-to-peer sharing of faculty-generated and reviewed teaching activities at your institution. In this session, the presenters will describe the experience of adopting an open educational resource for a course, the motivation to adapt that open educational resource, and the steps they took to manage an OER adaptation project . The participants will be engaged with prompting questions and conversation points during each section of the presentation, and they will be given time to brainstorm and discuss the challenges, motivations, tools, and support they have at their own campuses to take on similar projects.

This booklet version includes a smaller selection of materials from the larger Health Matters! book. Developed for use in both hospital settings and the broader community, the resource promotes learning through interactive, age-appropriate activities.

They can take many forms-- learning modules, video lectures, etc.-- but they are most commonly known as free online textbooks. In this form, they are a growing presence on course syllabi, but what exactly are these things that faculty are integrating into their courses? Where do they come from? How do they help students? In the presentation, attendees will learn the fundamentals of OER and the reasons instructors choose to adopt them.
