วัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรค์ขององค์การสมองซีกขวาซึ่งเป็นองค์การที่มีศักยภาพในการทำหน้าที่ของสมองซีกขวาในการผลิตจินตนาการนั้น เป็นหัวใจสำคัญในการสร้างนวัตกรรมองค์การระดับโลก อาทิ มหาวิหาร ซากราดา ฟามิเลีย บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะการบริหารวัฒนธรรมองค์การ ของวัดร่องขุ่น จังหวัดเชียงราย ว่าได้อาศัยวัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรค์ขององค์การสมองซีกขวาหรือไม่ อย่างไร ในการสร้างนวัตกรรมองค์การ และศึกษามาตรการเพื่อส่งเสริมและประยุกต์ใช้กับองค์การภาครัฐ โดยอาศัยการบูรณาการข้ามศาสตร์ ด้วยวิธีวิจัยแบบผสม ทั้งเชิงปริมาณและคุณภาพ เครื่องมือในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง และแบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ กลุ่มผู้ที่ปฎิบัติงานในวัดร่องขุ่น กลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญสาขาต่าง ๆ และกลุ่มสาธารณชน ข้อค้นพบคือ (1) การบริหารวัฒนธรรมองค์การของวัดร่องขุ่น ได้อาศัยวัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรค์ขององค์การสมองซีกขวาทุกมิติ ข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถามแสดงว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างมีการรับรู้วัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรค์ ลักษณะองค์การสมองซีกขวา และการสร้างนวัตกรรมของวัดร่องขุ่น อยู่ในระดับสูงที่สุด สอดคล้องกับผลการสัมภาษณ์และข้อเสนอทางทฤษฎี (2) มาตรการส่งเสริมและประยุกต์ใช้การบริหารด้วยแนวทางวัฒนธรรมสร้างสรรรค์ขององค์การสมองซีกขวา เพื่อสร้างนวัตกรรมขององค์การภาครัฐ ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมเชิงรุกและวัฒนธรรมมืออาชีพ การขจัดวัฒนธรรมความกลัวและวัฒนธรรมการลอกเลียนแบบ

Abstract

The present study investigated the impact of departmental procedural fairness on officers' psychological well-being and engagement in citizenship behaviors. An additional variable considered was the mediating impact of psychological safety on officers' psychological well-being and citizenship behaviors. The findings of this study identify internal operations of police departments as fertile ground for systemic improvements within policing.

Criminal defendants unable to afford an attorney are entitled to one for free in the United States, but how and when they obtain access to that lawyer is another question. We examine judicial attitudes and behavior in granting access to counsel in areas where logistics are particularly forbidding. Based on survey responses from 1,091 magistrate judges presiding in lower criminal courts in suburban and rural jurisdictions in upstate New York, we describe both the procedures used to determine defendants' financial eligibility for free counsel, and the logistical challenges that surround securing the physical presence of a lawyer at the first …

The ability to associate a smokeless powder, smokeless powder residue, or organic gunshot residue (OGSR) to one another may be helpful in determining the origin of a suspected sample and aid in linking a suspect to a crime scene. In this study, smokeless powders were extracted and analyzed via gas chromatography – mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and direct analysis in real time – high resolution mass spectrometry (DART-HRMS). Subsequently, group definition was performed using hierarchical cluster analysis and principal component analysis followed by internally validated classification models. In criminal cases, poor individuals must qualify as legally indigent to receive legal representation. In civil cases, poor and indigent individuals must find their own resources to support themselves since the government does not guarantee counsel. Without counsel, poor and indigent individuals are forced to find legal representation for these cases on their own, which can be difficult considering the expenses of fees and fines. Cognitive processes, including bias and stereotypes, create a barrier in advocacy because they cloud judgement of decision-makers, which can diminish the voice of this vulnerable community. When a defendant is arrested, they can choose to either hire a private attorney to represent them, have appointed counsel such as a public defender, or have no representation. While the Sixth Amendment guarantees the right to counsel regardless of a defendant’s ability to pay, this counsel is not always required at first appearance. In fact, only 14 states have made it a requirement to have counsel at first appearance, and even in those states, counsel is not always appointed immediately. This thesis explores how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted wildlife rangers with an emphasis on the influences of tourism rates. Two sets of data are used: one is a survey of rangers around the world and the other looks at global governmental tourism data. While coming from a routine activities perspective, the problem of decreased capable guardianship becomes apparent in the form of massively decreased tourism arrivals and troubling ranger perceptions. College-aged students have the highest sexual assault and intimate partner violence victimization rates. Previous studies have linked victimization with poor mental health scores, especially in the LGBTQ+ college population. They also showed a higher rate of victimization for LGBTQ+ students. Mexico represents a dichotomy of images: first, as a land of sun, surf, and a place of destiny for vacationers, and second, as providing a haven for violent drug cartels operating with virtual impunity from the power of the state that appears unable to provide a fundamental duty - public safety. Using hermeneutical methodology, this paper examines some of the legal fictions that form the foundation of Federal Indian Law. The text of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 1823 Johnson v. M’Intosh opinion is evaluated through the lens of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide to determine the extent to which the Supreme Court incorporated genocidal principles into United States common law. The genealogy of M’Intosh is examined to identify influences that are not fully apparent on the face of the case. As such, this dissertation centers on a study of public US universities belonging to the Association of American Universities (AAU). This study looks for institutional level associations between respective rates by which college and university faculty with disabilities (FWD) are employed, certain aspects of disability policy drawn from each institution’s 2020 Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), and various other instances of empirical disability data (EDD).

This article explores the links between internet radicalization, access to weapons, and the current threat from terrorists who have been radicalized online. The prevalence of domestic terrorism, domestic hate groups, and online incitement and radicalization have led to considerable focus on the tension between counterterror efforts and the First Amendment. Many scholars recommend rethinking the extent of First Amendment protection, as well as Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment protections, and some judges appear to be listening. The graphic and bodily facts of a legal question of rights are relevant to the courts, particularly in questions that directly implicate physical bodies and pain, such as right to die cases, or what level of search may be allowable and when. However, in the case of abortion, or more specifically the bodily ramifications of pregnancy and childbirth, this detail is conspicuously absent. This article, relying on a content analysis of over 220 legal opinions on abortion rights, documents this absence of rhetoric. Singular point detection is a primary step in fingerprint recognition, especially for fingerprint alignment and classification. But in present there are still some problems and challenges such as more false-positive singular points or inaccurate reference point localization. This paper proposes an accurate core point localization method based on spatial domain features of fingerprint images from a completely different viewpoint to improve the fingerprint core point displacement problem of singular point detection. The philosophy of emotion raises complications for theories of precedent. This chapter argues that it is productive to think of the effect of some precedents as facets of legal reasoning that are related to the use and understanding of legal concepts as thick concepts. In legal reasoning, precedents are routinely invoked to explicate, and/or clarify the content of legal concepts that are at issue in a case. This chapter develops an argument by Bernard Williams, i.e., that one must avoid the risk of over-generalizing the relationship of emotions to thick concepts, by placing it in the context of legal reasoning. …

Previously juveniles as young as 14 guilty of murder were eligible to be sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. However, the decision of Miller v. Alabama (2012) declared mandatory life without the possibility of parole (LWOP) unconstitutional. Juveniles sentenced to LWOP were now able to be either resentenced or eligible for possible parole. The current study examined which scales on the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) predict parole outcomes for adult men seeking parole who committed murder when they were juveniles and sentenced to LWOP.
