In the United States, medical errors, clinical complications and bad outcomes are often managed through a medical-legal system that seeks retributive justice, costing billions of dollars, and leaving patients and healthcare providers with deep emotional wounds and fractured relationships. In contrast, a forgiveness-based approach through Servant-leadership offers patients and medical providers a holistic and restorative justice that acknowledges shared suffering, addresses intrinsic needs, and rebuilds the sacred sense of community once shared between the two groups. Abstract: The purpose of this qualitative phenomenological study was to interview school administrators in the Los Angeles area who utilized social-emotional learning programs in their individual schools. Since the worldwide pandemic, schools have emphasized the importance of social-emotional learning. This research was conducted in an effort to provide school administrators with additional strategies to support the importance of social-emotional learning. In-depth interviews were conducted to collect leadership practices. The data was collected during the Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 school calendar year. Increasing job demands for board-certified behavior analysts (BCBA) put newly minted BCBAs at a higher risk of burnout. The problem is that BCBAs only receive technical and clinical training to become certified. The effects of a Pakistani medical school reform that increased the share of female doctors are studied. Data is collected from a survey of over 600 Pakistani doctors to identify the reform’s effects. Female doctors in fields affected by the reform experienced lower pay and spent less time on each out-patient, which is consistent with their becoming more likely to work in public hospitals relative to the control. Male doctors experienced few changes, or changes in the opposite direction over the same time period. The results suggest that the medical labor market became segregated by gender for initial cohorts, with …
