Today there are seventeen and a half million people age 65 or over in the United States. This is nearly one-tenth of our population, and the number is estimated to be increasing by one thousand daily. There are already twenty-five million people age 60 or over, six million age 75 and over, and more than ten thousand over the age of 100. With increased study and research on various factors in the aging process and how they affect the health of elderly people, these figures may go even higher.

Handling yeast dough is fun. There is much satisfaction in molding the dough and watching it rise. You and your family will enjoy the delicious flavor and delicate texture associated with homemade rolls. The process of making rolls is similar to that of making bread. Less kneading is required because the gluten in rolls does not have to be developed so much in order to support the structure of the roll.
