This thesis is a survey ot certain aspects of the Workmen's Compensation Act of New Mexico. The problem of determining what actually has taken place under certain statutory provisions of the New Mexico Act is the major problem to which this thesis is addressed. In an effort to evaluate the New Mexico Act a contrast with ideal legislation will be made and a contrast with the Arizona Workmen's Compensation Act will be undertaken.
