Introduction: The masseter and the anterior part of the temporalis are the muscles mainly responsible for the clenching function. Clenching patterns and the activity of these muscles are not expected to differ between male and females, nor between different occlusal classes. Objective: To examine the morphological properties of temporomandibular joint structures by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on patients with and without disc displacement (DD). Methods: Thirty-eight patients with disc displacement and 13 patients without disc displacement were included. Age, gender, and clinical findings such as pain, joint sounds of patients were recorded. Objective: The aim of this cross-sectional study is to investigate Turkish dentists’ opinions and preferences regarding the management of deep carious lesions and compare them with modern dental education concepts as provided by dental schools. Methods: Questionnaire 1 and Questionnaire 2 were sent separately to dental practitioners via the Turkish Dental Association and to university department heads of restorative dentistry. This study views how road infrastructure development affects crime in rural Indonesia. The issuance of Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages create massive road infrastructure development to develop villages economy. However, it also create negative externality, which is crime. Using logistic regression model, this study analyzes Village Potential data for 2006-2018 in Indonesia. The results show that road infrastructure development’s accompanied by crime opportunity increase of 1.3-1.5 times higher in rural Indonesia. After massive development, it indicates economic increase and crime decrease in remote villages. This finding supports literatures about road infrastructure and accessibility can provide opportunities for crime.

This study aims to examine how credit lending can improve MSEs performance, its impact on women micro and small entrepreneurs (PPMK) household welfare, and the determinants of their disinterest in subsidised loans. Using a sample of 82 PPMK households in Depok City and Bogor Regency with the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) method, the results showed loans could boost business income. Still, the government’s credit with low-interest rates is not the primary choice due to limited knowledge, an obligation for collateral, and religious issues such as usury. This study also shows government credit assistance can improve the welfare of MSE households.

Crowding out analysis emphasizes the extent to which household spending on tobacco affects other baskets of household expenditures. The data used in this study is the National Socio-Economic Survey in 2016. Using the Quadratic Almost Ideal Demand System equation, this study found that tobacco expenditure has a negative and significant effect on almost all types of household expenditures, such as fuel, education, entertainment, clothing, health, and durable goods. Household durable goods expenditure is the most displaced or sacrificed, followed by education expenditure. This finding reveals tobacco consumption has effect on human capital investment and long-run economic growth in West Sumatra.

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of international mass media sentiment on macroeconomic indicators in five ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam. The purpose of this study is to develop a macroeconomic forecast model based on the analysis of macroeconomic indices and international sentiment that combines GDELT and World Development Indicators (WDI) data. This study aims to assess the impact of road and port infrastructure quality of Indonesia and its trade partners, on Indonesia’s export performance in total as well as on three commodity groups, consisting of mineral, base metals, and manufactured products.
