This paper aims to present comprehensive views from both POP MART and trendy toy industry, conduct macroeconomic analysis to analyze POP MART, and provides recommendations for the business. This paper employs the quality and quantity method, using public data between 2015 and 2020 from China National Bureau of Statistics. The result of this study that the reasons of POP MART get success is IP characters design, a comprehensive supply chain and oversea market expansion. The objective of the study was to estimate the relative technical efficiency of public hospitals in PNG and estimate the magnitudes of output increases and/or input reductions that would have been required to make relatively inefficient hospitals more efficient using Data Envelopment Analysis for 20 hospitals in PNG using the data for 2017. The study is further extended using the Tobit regression analysis to investigate the institutional and contextual factors on hospital efficiencies. This research studies the impact of competition on bank stabilities, which are capital adequacy, non-performing loans ratio, interest income risk, and non-interest income risk. Lerner index is used to proxy degree of non-structural bank competition. We use data on 11 Thai commercial banks from the year 2010 to 2018 and employ Panel Least Square regression. Our results show that banks with higher market power tend to have lower risk lending behaviors. As a result, this allows them to have lower level of capital and higher level of risk in non-interest income activities. On the other hand, higher concentration ratio 5, …

In this paper, we evaluate the effects of firm-level and country-level variables on the firms' probability of having cross-border M&A deals and the size of the deals. Our sample consists of 87 firms from SET100 Index (firms from financial industry are excluded), and the data between 2009 to 2018 is used in this paper. The results indicate that the increase in ownership advantages of the firms, namely, size and profitability raise the chance of the firms having cross-border M&A deals and the size of the deals. The main objective of this paper is to assess the economic impact in Bali during the Covid-19 pandemic by proposing the case of Ubud Food Festival 2019 with input-output analysis. Due to the outbreak, most scheduled festivals in 2020 have been cancelled, including Ubud Food Festival 2020. Computing the festival impact generated by 54 sectors in Bali's economy, this study constructs regional output, value-added, and income multipliers. This thesis studies the impact of factors influencing ex-prisoners' labour market re-entry. It is separated into three studies. The first study evaluates the effect of beauty premiums from cosmetic surgery on male ex-prisoners under asymmetric information settings where employers are unaware of candidates' criminal history. Using a Choice Experiment approach (CEs), the beauty from cosmetic surgery performs as the signal submitted to 400 employers. The results show that the beauty from cosmetic surgery associates with the increase of possibility of candidates in the experiments being chosen by 3.05 and 1.54 times, in the formal and informal sector, respectively. This thesis research comprises three studies, each of which investigates the inequality of income and wealth in Thailand from 1996 to 2017 and the impact of personal income tax and taxes on real estate on that inequality. Shorrocks Index decomposition technique is applied to examine the key drivers of inequality in the country in the first two studies. In the third study, the analysis is developed under the Heckman Selection Model to estimate the effect of personal income tax policy reform on the individual. Several studies analyzed the impact of internet finance on the profitability of Chinese commercial banks. This paper adds to the literature by focusing on two types of internet finance, internal internet finance (online banking) and external internet finance (third-party-payment (TPP) and peer-to-peer lending (P2P) platforms), and their relationship with bank performance. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษา Be@rbrick ในฐานะของสะสม โดยแบ่งการศึกษาออกเป็น 2 ส่วน ส่วนแรกศึกษาทางฝั่งผู้ผลิตในการสร้างมูลค่าเชิงสัญญะให้กับสินค้า โดยใช้แนวคิดของ ฌอง โบดริยาร์ด เนื่องจากการบริโภคของผู้คนยุคนี้ไม่ใช่แค่การใช้หรือเสพสินค้าที่เป็นวัตถุรูปธรรมเท่านั้น แต่มีด้านของการเสพสัญญะอยู่ด้วย โดยมีปัจจัยอื่น ๆ เช่น กลไกการตลาดเป็นตัวสนับสนุน ส่วนที่สองศึกษาในด้านพฤติกรรมของกลุ่มคนที่สะสม Be@rbrick โดยใช้แนวคิดเรื่องการสร้างความโดดเด่นทางสังคมของ ปีแอร์ บูร์ดิเยอ ที่วิเคราะมิติการบริโภคโดยเน้นที่เรื่องทุนทางเศรษฐกิจและทุนทางวัฒนธรรม ผลที่ได้นั้นพบว่าผู้ผลิตใช้การร่วมมือกับบริษัทเจ้าของผลิตภัณฑ์สินค้า ตัวละครจากภาพยนตร์ ดนตรี แฟชั่นเฮ้าส์ งานศิลปะ และวัฒนธรรมประชานิยมที่ได้รับความนิยมและมีคุณค่าสูงต่อผู้บริโภคอยู่แล้ว โดยนำความรับรู้ของผู้บริโภคต่อสินค้าเหล่านั้น มาใช้ออกแบบลวดลายบน Be@rbrick เป็นการใช้กระบวนการเข้ารหัสให้กลายเป็นสัญญะต่าง ๆ เช่น สัญญะของความหรูหรา สัญญะด้านความทรงจำที่ประทับใจในอดีต สัญญะด้านการฉลองวาระพิเศษ เพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่าแก่ผลิตภัณฑ์ของตน โดยใช้กลไกการตลาดและการสร้างกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์เป็นส่วนเสริม ส่งผลให้ผลิตภัณฑ์ได้รับความนิยมอย่างต่อเนื่องยาวนาน ส่วนในด้านนักสะสมพบว่านักสะสมใช้ Be@rbrick เพื่อสร้างตัวตนโดยการแสดงอัตลักษณ์อันหลากหลายผ่านกิจกรรมการบริโภค นอกจากนี้การสร้างชุดสะสม Be@rbrick ยังสามารถสะท้อนถึงระดับของทุนทางเศรษฐกิจและทุนทางวัฒนธรรมที่มีของเจ้าของชุดสะสม โดยทุนทางเศรษฐกิจที่สูงจะส่งผลต่อจำนวนชิ้นและมูลค่าของชุดสะสม ทุนทางเศรษฐกิจที่น้อยลง ขนาดและมูลค่าของชุดสะสมก็จะลดน้อยตามไปด้วย ในขณะเดียวกันทุนทางวัฒนธรรมก็จะทำหน้าที่ในการเพิ่มคุณค่าของชุดสะสม ทุนทางวัฒนธรรมที่มากกว่าย่อมจะส่งเสริมให้นักสะสมสามารถใช้ความรู้ที่มีในการคัดเลือกชิ้นงานของสะสมให้ประกอบขึ้นเป็นชุดสะสมที่มีคุณค่ามากขึ้นตามทุนทางวัฒนธรรมที่มีของตน

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาบทบาทของโขนภายใต้การเปลี่ยนสังคมการเมืองไทย ซึ่งมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาทไปในลักษณะต่าง ๆ โดยศึกษาว่ามีลักษณะใดบ้าง ใครเป็นผู้ดำเนินการเพื่อสร้างบทบาทใหม่ของโขนในแต่ละช่วงเวลา โดยศึกษาผ่านการวิเคราะห์โดยใช้แนวคิดการครองอำนาจนำผลจากการศึกษาพบว่า พัฒนาการและบทบาทของโขนที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปในแต่ละช่วงเวลาถูกกำหนดโดยชนชั้นปกครอง สะท้อนออกมาในรูปแบบของการใช้โขนเป็นเครื่องมือทางการเมืองเพื่อผลประโยชน์ของตนเอง โดยบทบาทของโขนในสมัยสมบูรณาญาสิทธิราชย์แรกเริ่มเป็นการละเล่นเพื่อแสดงถึงสถานะและความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพระมหากษัตริย์ ต่อมาบทบาทความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ถูกลดความสำคัญลงไป เหลือเพียงเป็นมหรสพการแสดงเพื่อแสดงศักดานุภาพของพระมหากษัตริย์และแสดงเพื่อความสำราญส่วนพระองค์ ภายหลังการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครอง 2475 สถานะของโขนถูกเปลี่ยนแปลงหน่วยงานผู้ดูแลจากโขนในราชสำนักมาสู่โขนของรัฐบาล จอมพล ป. พิบูลสงครามได้สร้างบทบาทของโขนผูกกับความเป็นชาติ ต่อมา ม.ร.ว. คึกฤทธิ์ ปราโมชเป็นผู้พัฒนาให้เกาะเกี่ยวคุณค่าของความเป็นไทยและสถาบันกษัตริย์ ซึ่งทั้งหมดล้วนเป็นไปเพื่อผลประโยชน์ของผู้ดำเนินการทั้งสิ้น ต่อมาเมื่อรัฐบาลเริ่มลดบทบาทการใช้โขนเป็นเครื่องมือทางการเมืองลง โขนจึงสามารถพัฒนาให้มีลักษณะเป็นมหรสพการแสดงเพื่อความบันเทิงสำหรับประชาชนอย่างแท้จริงในยุคสมัยนายเสรี หวังในธรรม ทำให้มีจำนวนผู้ชมเพิ่มมากขึ้นในช่วงเวลานี้ ซึ่งดำรงอยู่ได้ในระยะเวลาหนึ่ง และกลับมาประสบปัญหาความซบเซาในด้านจำนวนคนดูลงอีกครั้ง ต่อมากลุ่มสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์เป็นผู้ดำเนินการผลิตโขนของตนเอง ในนามโขนศาลาเฉลิมกรุงและโขนพระราชทาน ซึ่งมีลักษณะเกาะเกี่ยวคุณค่าและอุดมการณ์ของสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ และสามารถทำให้การแสดงโขนกลับมาเป็นกระแสของคนดูอีกครั้ง เป็นการเน้นการรับรู้ถึงคุณค่าของสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ในฐานะผู้อนุรักษ์งานศิลป์ของแผ่นดิน จะเห็นได้ว่ารูปแบบและวิธีการในการใช้โขนเป็นเครื่องมือทางการเมืองของชนชั้นปกครอง สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการสร้างภาวะการครองอำนาจนำทางวัฒนธรรมของชนชั้นปกครอง เพื่อตอบสนองต่อผลประโยชน์ต่อตัวผู้กระทำการเอง และยังส่งผลให้โขนเปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาทในลักษณะต่าง ๆ

This study considers whether close proximity to higher education institutions increases the probability of earning a bachelor’s degree, overeducation, and horizontal mismatch between degree and occupation. Using data from the 2015 and 2016 Labor Force Survey of the National Statistical Office of Thailand, and jobs data from the Ministry of Labor, we find that individuals living in provinces with research or Rajabhat universities are more likely to earn a bachelor’s degree, but does not increase the probability of being overeducated for their job. In addition, we find larger overeducation penalties in provinces with universities. Finally, qualitative analysis shows that demand …

A study into the effects of different macroeconomic variables on the comovement between the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index and the Standard & Poor's 500 (S&P 500). These effects are tested using OLS regression in an annual and quarterly frequency. Real Interest Rate Difference between the two countries is found to have a significant negative effect, likely due to investors turning to Thailand when it has higher real interest rate.
