أخذ موضوع النمو والتنمية الأقتصادية حيزاً كبيراً من الأهمية في العقود الاخيرة سواء على مستوى التنظير الأقتصادي والبحوث العلمية والأكاديمية أو على مستوى الهيئات والمؤسسات الدولية العالمية أو على مستوى الدول وتوجهاتها الأقتصادية، فالنمو الأقتصادي كظاهرة عامة هو وسيلة لتحقيق مختلف الأغراض لهذا فأن معظم الدول تسعى الى تعظيم معدل النمو أو على الأقل تحسينه بأدخال كل الشروط التي تفرضها التنمية الاقتصادية . فالنمو الأقتصادي يبقى الهاجس الأساسي لمختلف الأنظمة من جهة وللأفراد من جهة أخرى فهو على رأس أهداف السياسات الأقتصادية كونه يمثل الخلاصة المادية للجهود الأقتصادية وغير الأقتصادية المبذولة في المجتمع.

هدفت الدراسة الي تناول التغيرات الهيكلية في بيئة المحاسبة الداخلية والخارجية ودورها في ممارسات المحاسبة الإبداعية. وتمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في التغيرات الهيكلية في عوامل بيئة المحاسبة، والتغيرات في ضوابط سلوك وأخلاقيات المهنة وما تسببه تلك التغيرات من خلل يتم استغلاله كمدخل لممارسات المحاسبة الإبداعية. وتوصلت الدراسة الي عدم وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التغيرات الهيكلية في بيئة المحاسبة وممارسات المحاسبة الإبداعية. حيث أظهرت نتائج التحليل الإحصائي للدراسة أن اقل قيمة لعبارات الفرضية الأولى حسب تحليل مربع كاي تساوي (1.035) عند درجة حرية (42)، بمستوى دلالة (.000) وهي أكبر من 0.05 ودالة إحصائياً وهو ما يؤكد صحة الفرضية “تجود علاقة …

This study aimed to Performance Comparison of Neural Networks (MLP, RBFNN, ERNN, JRNN) Models for the time series data of a monthly Stock Prices to Bank of Palestine from Nov. 2005 to Oct. 2020, and comparing between models to see which one is better in forecasting. The results of applying the methods were compared through the (MAPE, MAE, RMSE), the most accurate model is ERNN 14-25-1 with minimum forecast measure error.

الغرض من البحث الحالي هو معرفة علاقة الوضوح الاستراتيجي والمتمثل بـ(وضوح الانشطة والاجراءات, ووضوح الاهداف, ووضوح استعمال الموارد, و وضوح دور الموظفين, ووضوح الهيكل التنظيمي, و وضوح الادوار القيادية) التي تمتلكها العينة المدروسة, في المنظمات الريادية و المتمثلة بـ (الاستقلالية, والابداعية, والاستباقية, وتحمل المخاطرة), واعتمد البحث على الاستبانة كأداة رئيسة لجمع البيانات الضرورية واللازمة لتحقيق هدفها. اذ تم توزيع (67) استمارة لتحديد مستوى توافر الوضوح الاستراتيجي والمنظمات الريادية, وعليه تم استخدام (55) استمارة صالحة للتحليل، فضلا عن انه تم استعمال مجموعة من الاساليب الاحصائية متمثل بالوسط الحسابي الموزون، والانحراف المعياري، ومعامل الارتباط البسيط بيرسون، ومعامل الانحدار البسيط. وأظهرت نتائج البحث …

Providing incentives to top managers by offering equity has become the norm; this practice, however, does not hold for all levels of employees. After tax incentives for employee ownership were introduced through the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, there has been little legislative support to encourage companies to implement broad-based equity sharing programs. Moreover, decades of neoliberal policies have incentivized the pursuit of short-term profits and speculation, which contribute to economic instability and explain the growing gap between productivity and real wages observed since the late 1970s. We empirically consider Airbnb’s effect on a new variable in Short Term Rental (STR) research, second homes, employing a model pre-Airbnb diffusion (2009), and post-Airbnb diffusion (2019). In doing so we test our hypothesis that second home use will be converted to short-term rentals with the advent of Airbnb. We do so through a natural experiment examining housing stock. We create a schema to segregate tourist and non-tourist counties based on economic variables and deploy these in our research framework observing a shock to housing supply. This dissertation explores how director age affects a firm’s social domain, and how board-level oversight of firms’ innovation activities affects financial performance. Specifically, the dissertation points to board configurations that can potentially improve social and financial performance. The first chapter reviews the literature by examining two research streams linking board composition to corporate social performance (CSP) and innovation. The chapter presents the theoretical and empirical underpinnings of these two streams. Volatility Spillover Between Stock Market And Currency Market Of Pakistan In The Presence Of Structural Breaks, Muhammad Jamil, Hifsa Mobeen

Business Review

This study examines the volatility transmission between the currency market and the stock market of Pakistan in the presence of structural breaks. For this purpose, daily data from the stock market and currency market is analyzed. An empirical investigation is conducted using the bivariate EGARCH model and the test for multiple structural breaks developed by Bai and Perron (2003). This study analyses these markets with the inclusion of sudden changes. Results of the EGARCH model suggest that volatility spillover is positive and bidirectional between these markets of Pakistan.
