Efektivitas Teknik Relaksasi Dalam Konseling Kelompok Behavioral Untuk Menurunkan Stres Belajar Siswa Sma, Istiana Nurcahyani, Lutfi Fauzan

This research purpose to know the effectiveness of relaxation technique in behavioral group counseling to reducing academic stress at senior high school students. Research use one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject are selected 5 students based on high scores academic stress scale. Instruments used the scale academic stress was developed from various theories stress by Hans Selye (1976), Lazarus and Folkman (1984) with reliability is 0.898 and item validity > 0.3. Data were analyzed using wilcoxon signed ranks test. The analysis showed the Z count value is -2.032 with significance level of 0.042 <0.05 which can be concluded that relaxation techniques effective for reducing academic stress of senior high school students.

Communication skills are the most important things for teenagers. There is a leaning that the teenagers who have low communication skills can be called as someone who is introvert personality. People who are introvert personality tend to be difficult to communicate and express verbally. The purpose of developing letter sharing media is to improve communication skills of introvert student. This research is development research by adopting Borg and Gall research model. The development result showed that this product has the criteria of usefulness, feasibility, accuracy, and attractiveness and appropriate when used to facilitate students to express communication skills in writing.

This research aims to developing the creative problem solving manual for preventing bullying among junior high school students which acceptable on accuracy, utility, and implementatively. This research method is adapted from procedural research and development Borg & Gall model (1983). Expert and prospective user analyzed by inter-rater agreement (Grinnell, 1988). Agreement result of 3 guidance and counseling experts from accuracy aspect is high, utility is high, and implementatiely is very high. Agreement of 3 prospective users from accuracy is high, utility is high, and implementatively is very high. The conclusion of the test is, this training guide product acceptable.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of film to improving emphaty sevents grade students junior high school. The study design used a quasi-experimental design using the design of one group pretest-posttest design. More than seven million people of childbearing age in the United States experience infertility. Oftentimes, for women, the experience of infertility is stressful. The Fertility Problem Inventory (FPI) has been used to quantitatively measure women’s experience of infertility-related stress. However, the construct of infertility-related stress is poorly described in existing literature. The purpose of this case study was to understand how women experience the FPI as a measure of infertility-related stress. To address this issue, women who were undergoing infertility treatment completed the FPI and participated in unstructured interviews. A survey was conducted with state level chapters from Family Voices, Parent Training and Information Centers, and Parent–to-Parent USA to understand their current activities support families of children with hearing-related concerns and to identify gaps in their ability to support families of children who are D/HH. these organizations reported that they are contacted with parent requests for information in regard to family support opportunities, early intervention, referral sources pertaining to hearing concerns, financial help, and providing information about legal rights. This paper explores the relationship between perceived stigma from friends and the use of mental health services. By reviewing six peer-reviewed articles it was hypothesized that there would be a negative correlation between the number of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Psychology 317 students who perceive that their friends had negative thoughts towards mental health services and the likelihood that those individuals would partake in mental health services. The present study investigated the presence and possible predictors of complicated grief symptoms in perinatally-bereaved mothers (N = 121) up to 5 years post-bereavement. The presence of complicated grief scores in the clinical range was 12.4%, which is higher than in many other bereaved populations, and the presence of other living children may protect against the development of complicated grief symptoms. The majority of the women were able to negotiate a perinatal loss without developing complicated grief; however, there remains an important group of women who up to 5 years later score in the clinical range for complicated grief symptoms.

Background: Acceptance of disability (AOD) is a useful construct that assesses the ability of a patient to psychologically cope with chronic diseases, but its effect on long-term outcomes of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the relation between AOD level and clinical outcomes in a cohort of CKD patients in Taiwan.

The purpose of the present study was to test a relational spillover model of physical aggression whereby physical aggression affects marital outcomes due to its effects on how spouses ask for and provide support to one another. Newlywed couples (n = 172) reported levels of physical aggression over the past year and engaged in interactions designed to elicit social support; marital adjustment, and stability were assessed periodically over the first 10 years of marriage. Multilevel modeling revealed that negative support behavior mediated the relationship between physical aggression and 10-year marital adjustment levels whereas positive support behavior mediated the relationship between …

The current study sought to answer the following research questions: First, what is the relationship between attachment, intimacy, pornography use, and marital satisfaction? Second, in what ways does intimacy influence marital satisfaction among pornography users with insecure attachment? Finally, is pornography used to regulate attachment emotions among pornography users with insecure attachment? The study revealed that Pornography Use caused an interaction in the relationship between Intimacy and Marital Satisfaction for those higher in Attachment Avoidance. This study aims at describing the subordination and marginalization of ex-commercial sex workers in Indramayu District. This qualitative research was conducted through in-depth interview and observation on 5 (five) interesting case studies whose data, then, was triangulated to ensure the valid-ity and reliability of the data. This research about community organizing heterogeneous in a geographic region on the issue of HIV and AIDS. The study was conducted for the prevention of HIV and AIDS has been made to key populations, individual and group (at the micro level). Research with qualitative approach and descriptive methods have found that it is not easy to organize geographic community with interven-tions on the mezzo level on the issue of HIV & AIDS with peculiarities in it.
