This study aimed to know how the daily Jordanian newspapers covered the crisis of the snowstorm "jana". Using the content analysis as a method, the study analyzed materials about the crisis published in three main daily newspapers: Al-Rai , Addustour and Al-ghad through the period between 19 feb2015-22 feb of the same year. The study reached the following results: 1. News items came first with of the percentage of (17.8%) then the report with the percentage of (21.5%). 2. The Ouachita Student Foundation (OSF) raised $170,000 during Tiger Tunes, surpassing their goal of $135,000 for the entire 2022-23 school year. Tiger Tunes is an annual song-and-dance production that parodies popular music as a competition among student organizations. It is held each year during the university’s Homecoming weekend.

Actor, singer, Broadway performer and Ouachita graduate Jacob Keith Watson fell in love with the university while attending Super Summer camp on campus as a teenager. He was drawn by the discovery that the school had a musical theatre major—the only one in Arkansas at the time.

"One thing that was important to me was experience," Watson said. "I could do the operas, I could do the Shakespeare, I could do the contemporary plays, I could do the musicals." He was also able to stage-manage and design lighting and sound, which helped him become a "whole theatre artist," he said.

Ouachita has approved new undergraduate degree pathways for Fall 2022 in order to better support students following a call to pursue a profession that invests in others.
