The Washington Bureau Of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch With Special Emphasis On How It Covers The United States Senate, Maisie Arrington

This academic study provides a detailed examination of the Washington Bureau of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, with a specific focus on its methodologies for covering the United States Senate. Established as a national presence in 1918 under Charles G. Ross, the bureau operates under a strict policy platform originally conceived by Joseph Pulitzer in 1907. This platform mandates a commitment to progress, reform, and independence, specifically enjoining the staff to never be satisfied with merely printing the news but to actively fight corruption and injustice.
