Adjusting To Academic And Social Life At Utah State University: A Series Of Video Program Scripts For Chinese Students From Taiwan, The Republic Of China, Lu Chiang
All Graduate Theses and Dissertations, Spring 1920 to Summer 2023
The purpose of this study is to identify the major problems and solutions for Chinese students in their adjustment to academic and social life at Utah State University. The author intended to give Chinese students an orientation through a series of five video scripts which could be later produced into a series of five video programs.
The adjustment problems of Chinese students were determined by reviewing related literature and by surveying 50 Chinese students at Utah State University. The solutions to those problems were determined by interviewing 10 professors and faculty members on the campus of Utah State University.

Winona Campus Life
Winona Campus Life was a weekly laboratory newspaper produced by the WSU Mass Communciation Department students and printed as a supplement to the Sunday Winona Daily News, which began in September 1983. The newspaper provided coverage of the four institutions of higher education in Winona: Winona State University, St. Mary's University, College of Saint Teresa, and Winona Area Vocational-Technical School. It was created to provide a place for Mass Communcation students to publish their articles and photographs with the idea of generating reader feedback, which is essential in journalism education.
