As Black women gain representation in business and entrepreneurial leadership, it is important to consider how these women will be perceived as leaders. Role congruity theory (RCT) posits that women’s gender roles do not align with the leadership role which often negatively impacts leader evaluations. However, RCT is often employed without a racial context where women are presumed to be White, and thus, it is unclear if the same assumptions can be applied to Black women. Programs incorporating sexual assault victim advocates have become a prominent resource in assisting survivors gain access to necessary services to aid in their recovery. Although these efforts provide needed support to survivors, the programs are developed without the input of the survivors. This qualitative phenomenological study explored the relationship between victim advocates and survivors from the perspective of the survivor. Semistructured interviews were conducted with 13 sexual assault survivors regarding how they perceived their relationship with their advocates, what they experienced as helpful or not helpful in that relationship, and what they thought might improve that relationship. Religious beliefs bear a great significance in many individuals’ lives, as they shape our personal belief systems and affect our relationships with others. Limited research has explored the relationship between religion and intimate partner violence (IPV), an increasingly prevalent issue that persists in our society. The traditional values, such as male gender roles associated with patriarchal societies and traditional religious beliefs, may magnify the prevalence of IPV perpetration. This study examines the impact of technological change on sustainable development in five emerging economies—Egypt, China, Brazil, India, and Turkey—over the period from 2004 to 2024 (World Bank, 2020; ITU, 2022). It seeks to understand how advancements in information and communication technologies, renewable energy, and manufacturing processes shape economic, social, and environmental sustainability (Geels et al., 2017; UNEP, 2021). Using panel data analysis, the research quantifies the relationship between technological indicators, such as ICT penetration and renewable energy adoption, and sustainable development outcomes, including GDP growth, environmental health, and social inclusion (Sadorsky, 2010; Shahbaz et al., 2016).

For the last seven years, PlanetScope satellites have started near-daily imaging of parts of the Earth’s surface, making high-density multitemporal, multispectral, 3-m pixel imagery accessible to researchers. Multitemporal satellite data enables landscape archaeologists to examine changes in environmental conditions at time scales ranging from daily to decadal. This kind of temporal resolution can accentuate landscape features on the ground by de-emphasizing non-permanent signatures caused by seasonal or even daily changes in vegetation. We argue that the availability of high spatial and temporal resolution multispectral imagery from Planet Inc. will enable new approaches to studying archaeological visibility in landscapes. Most rural Nebraskans support a variety of housing programs and priorities. The support for these various programs was similar to that found in 2016. Bank Competition Amid Digital Disruption: Implications For Financial Inclusion, Erica Xuewei Jiang, Yang Gloria Yu, Jinyuan Zhang

We study how digital disruption impacts bank competition, considering consumers’ heterogeneous digital preferences. We find that the rollout of 3G networks contracts bank branch networks and leads to divergence in branching and pricing strategies across banks. These developments benefit young consumers but increase the unbanked rate for poorer and older consumers. A structural model shows that the higher perceived digital quality by younger borrowers mainly prompts these adjustments, causing significant surplus losses for older savers. Counterfactual exercises illustrate that subsidizing older savers opting for mobile banking effectively offsets these disparities at minimal cost, facilitating a smoother digital transition.

This study investigates the implementation of trauma-informed practices in various court settings, including juvenile and adult courtrooms, as well as specialized cases in areas such as family courts, domestic reconciliation, protection orders, and child in need of care (CINC) cases, within a single Midwestern state in the United States. The study targeted one rural and one urban judicial district. While the literature on nonviolent resistance has shown several variables to be highly correlative in affecting regime change, little research to date has shown which configuration of conditions leads to regime change in differing polities and repressive environments.
