ญี่ปุ่นเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศที่มีความสำคัญต่อระบบสังคมระหว่างประเทศและปัญหาสภาพภูมิอากาศโลกเปลี่ยนแปลงเป็นปัญหาฉุกเฉินที่กำลังทวีความรุนแรงมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ในปัจจุบัน อย่างไรก็ตามการที่จะสามารถแก้ไขปัญหาดังกล่าวได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ต้องได้รับความร่วมมือจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ในโลก องค์การระหว่างประเทศโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสหประชาชาติเป็นปัจจัยที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการทำให้การแก้ไขปัญหาสภาพภูมิอากาศโลกเปลี่ยนแปลงสามารถประสบความสำเร็จภายใต้ความร่วมมือในระดับนานาชาติ สหประชาชาติได้มีการแพร่ขยายบรรทัดฐานที่จะนำไปสู่การดำเนินนโยบายของตัวรัฐคือบรรทัดฐาน "ความรับผิดชอบของผู้มีสถานะ" และ "การคำนึงถึงระบบองค์รวม" แต่การที่ญี่ปุ่นได้รับนำเอาบรรทัดฐานเหล่านี้มาดำเนินนโยบายนั้น ญี่ปุ่นไม่ได้รับเอาบรรทัดฐานมาโดยไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงให้เหมาะสมกับบรรทัดฐานภายใน ญี่ปุ่นได้ดำเนินกระบวนการที่เรียกว่า "การทำให้เป็นท้องถิ่นของบรรทัดฐาน" ซึ่งเป็นกระบวนการที่ทำให้บรรทัดฐานภายนอกสามารถเชื่อมโยงกับบรรทัดฐานที่ได้รับการยอมอยู่แล้วเป็นวงกว้างในสังคมภายใน ทำให้การดำเนินนโยบายของตัวรัฐซึ่งเป็นนโยบายที่ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากบรรทัดฐานภายนอกเหล่านี้สามารถดำเนินได้อย่างราบรื่นและปราศจากแรงต่อต้านจากสังคมภายใน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มุ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นพัฒนาการด้านสุขภาพและการเข้าถึงของระบบราชทัณฑ์ไทยในการดูแลแบบประคับประคอง ภายใต้เงื่อนไขต่างๆ ตามกรอบข้อบังคับระดับสากลและข้อกฎหมายระดับประเทศ ทั้งนี้ ยังมุ่งศึกษาแนวทางการให้บริการด้านสุขภาพในมิติของการดูแลในระยะท้าย ความต้องการของผู้ต้องขังสูงวัยในเรือนจำ และรูปแบบการจัดการกับการตายในเรือนจำ ผ่านกลไกของราชทัณฑ์ไทยที่มีทีมสหวิชาชีพต่างๆที่เข้ามาให้บริการกับผู้ต้องขังในระยะท้ายกับผู้ต้องขัง การศึกษาครั้งนี้อาศัยการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการศึกษาครั้งนี้มีข้อค้นพบประการสำคัญว่า โครงการราชทัณฑ์ปันสุขเพื่อชาติ ศาสน์ กษัตริย์ คือจุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญของบริการสุขภาพในกรมราชทัณฑ์ ผู้ต้องขังสูงวัยในวาระท้ายของชีวิตนั้นได้รับบริการทางการแพทย์ที่มีมาตรฐานสากลเทียบเท่าการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลภายนอก ด้วยทีมสหวิชาชีพที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญ ทั้งยังมีบริการระบบการให้เยี่ยมออนไลน์สำหรับผู้ต้องขังในระยะท้ายในเรือนจำ และความต้องการในวาระสุดท้ายของชีวิตผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำนั้นคือการได้ “กลับบ้าน” ที่นับเป็นข้อค้นพบสำคัญและเป็นความหวังสุดท้ายก่อนสิ้นลมหายใจ

ปรากฏการณ์สมัยใหม่เรื่องตายที่ปรากฏให้เห็นในบริบทเมืองของไทย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในพื้นที่กรุงเทพฯ เกิดขึ้นโดยมีลักษณะร่วมหลายประการ คือ (1) เป็นการนำเสนอความตายแบบที่ไม่ใช่เรื่องต้องห้าม (2) มีการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล (3) นำความตายไปสอดแทรกในมิติอื่น ๆ ของชีวิตประจำวัน และท้ายที่สุด คือ (4) การใช้ความตายเพื่อตอบโจทย์ใหญ่ของสังคม คือ โจทย์ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม สังคมสูงวัย และความเป็นปัจเจกที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้น โดยงานวิจัยนี้ศึกษาปรากฏการณ์สมัยใหม่เรื่องตายผ่านหกกรณีศึกษา แบ่งเป็นแพลตฟอร์มพวงหรีดทางเลือกออนไลน์ที่ชี้ให้เห็นถึงการเปลี่ยนความหมายของคุณค่าใหม่ที่สะท้อนความตระหนักถึงความเสี่ยงทางสิ่งแวดล้อม และ ปรากฏการณ์เดธทิวิตี หรือ มรณิจกรรม อันเป็นการเปิดพื้นที่เรื่องตายใหม่ในสังคม โดยทั้งหกกรณีศึกษามีปัจจัยขับเคลื่อนสำคัญ คือ การทำความตายให้เป็นดิจิทัล (digitalization of death) และ การเรียกร้องให้เกิดปฏิสัมพันธ์ต่อความตายแบบใหม่ในฐานะพื้นที่เพื่อการเรียนรู้ภายในตนของปัจเจก (Transformative space) ซึ่งส่งผลให้ปฏิบัติการและการให้ความหมายต่อความตายของคนรุ่นใหม่ โดยเฉพาะในบริบทเมืองเปลี่ยนรูปโฉมไป และค้นพบว่าปรากฏการณ์สมัยใหม่ต้องอาศัยการทำงานร่วมกันของพื้นที่กายภาพและดิจิทัลอย่างแยกจากกันไม่ได้ภายใต้ความเป็นสังคมเครือข่าย (network society) เพราะวัตถุประสงค์และความหมายของปรากฏการณ์จะบรรลุผลได้ก็ต่อเมื่อเกิดขึ้นจากเครือข่ายของพื้นที่ เวลา วัตถุ และข้อมูล ทั้งกายภาพและดิจิทัลนั่นเอง ท้ายที่สุด การเกิดขึ้นของปรากฏการณ์สมัยใหม่เรื่องตายอาจกำลังชี้ให้เห็นถึงภูมิทัศน์ความตาย (Deathscape) ที่กำลังเปลี่ยนไป และชี้ให้เห็นว่าคนรุ่นใหม่ไม่ได้ละเลยความตาย แต่กำลังเรียกร้องการเรียนรู้เรื่องตายในรูปแบบใหม่ที่ต้องอาศัยการประกอบขึ้นจากดิจิทัล การสร้างประสบการณ์ที่เป็นส่วนตัวมิดชิด และตอบโจทย์คุณค่าใหม่ของสากล

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้ศึกษาการจัดการความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย และสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงาน ที่มุ่งให้สนใจกับกลุ่มโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมยางพาราจังหวัดสงขลา โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักในการศึกษาการนำนโยบายด้านการจัดการด้านความปลอดภัยในการทำงานมาประยุกต์ใช้ในกลุ่มโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมยางพาราดังกล่าว เพื่อให้ทราบถึงปัญหาและอุปสรรคของกระบวนการการนำนโยบายไปปฏิบัติ และเสนอแนะแนวทางในการปรับปรุงการดำเนินการที่เกี่ยวข้อง ผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพ ผ่านการทบทวนเอกสารและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ที่ทำงานเกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดการความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย และสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงาน และมีความเข้าใจลักษณะการทำงานของกลุ่มโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมยางพารา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สถานประกอบการบางแห่งขาดมาตรการ ความเข้าใจกฎหมายที่คุ้มครองให้แรงงานปลอดภัยจากอุบัติเหตุที่เพียงพอ นอกจากนั้น ปัญหาในการสื่อสารที่เกี่ยวข้องกับนโยบายและเงื่อนไขตามกฎหมายยังทำให้การดำเนินการขาดความต่อเนื่อง ทั้งนี้หน่วยงานภาครัฐบางส่วน รวมถึงโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมยางพาราขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมในจังหวัดสงขลาโดยส่วนใหญ่ มีทรัพยากรจำกัด ทำให้ไม่สามารถดำเนินการตามนโยบายในด้านนี้ได้อย่างครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ รวมถึงปัญหาด้านทัศนคติต่อการจัดการส่งผลให้ผู้ประกอบการบางส่วนมีมุมมองต่อการจัดการด้านความปลอดภัยในลักษณะภาระค่าใช้จ่ายที่ไม่จำเป็น และท้ายสุด การขาดความเชื่อมโยงของหน่วยงานภาครัฐในพื้นที่ ทำให้การดำเนินการยังไม่เป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน ในส่วนของข้อเสนอแนะนำของการศึกษาเพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการปรับปรุงการจัดการด้านความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย และสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงาน สำหรับภาครัฐ ควรให้ความสำคัญกับการส่งเสริมกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความปลอดภัยให้ได้รับการปฏิบัติอย่างต่อเนื่องและสร้างแรงจูงใจให้ภาคธุรกิจใส่ใจกับการบริหารจัดการด้านความปลอดภัย สำหรับสถานประกอบการ ควรมีการสนับสนุนการสร้างวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัยให้สอดคล้องกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของภาคอุตสาหกรรม ท้ายที่สุดสำหรับแรงงานในสถานประกอบการ ควรเสาะแสวงหาความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับสิทธิของลูกจ้างแรงงาน รวมถึงให้ความสำคัญและร่วมมือในการดำเนินการลดความเสี่ยงในการปฏิบัติงานด้วย

การศึกษาโครงการเงินอุดหนุนเพื่อการเลี้ยงดูเด็กแรกเกิดของผู้เกี่ยวข้องในระดับปฏิบัติการ: กรณีศึกษาจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ, เหมือนพิมพ์ รอบคอบ

การศึกษาในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคในกระบวนการรับสิทธิของโครงการเงินอุดหนุนเพื่อการเลี้ยงดูเด็กแรกเกิด และ (2) เพื่อนำไปสู่ข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับแนวทางในการพัฒนาโครงการ โดยเป็นการศึกษาด้วยรูปแบบการวิจัยแบบเชิงคุณภาพเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการรับสิทธิของโครงการเงินอุดหนุนเพื่อการเลี้ยงดูเด็กแรกเกิดในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ตั้งแต่ช่วงปี พ.ศ.2563 - พ.ศ.2566 ในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ โดยศึกษาจากเอกสารและการทบทวนวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง เก็บข้อมูลปฐมภูมิจากการสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้างจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญทั้งหมด 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ (1) กลุ่มผู้ปฏิบัตินโยบาย ซึ่งได้แก่ เจ้าหน้าที่ระดับปฏิบัติการส่วนกลางคือ ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการโครงการเงินอุดหนุนเพื่อการเลี้ยงดูเด็กแรกเกิด เจ้าหน้าที่ระดับปฏิบัติการส่วนภูมิภาคคือ สำนักงานพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์จังหวัด และเจ้าหน้าที่ระดับปฏิบัติการส่วนถิ่นจากองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น 3 แห่ง ได้แก่ องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบางเพรียง เทศบาลเมืองปู่เจ้าสมิงพราย เทศบาลนครสมุทรปราการ และ อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (2) กลุ่มผู้ปกครองที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ (3) กลุ่มผู้ปกครองที่ไม่ได้เข้าร่วมโครงการ (กลุ่มตกหล่น) รวมทั้งหมด 28 ท่าน จากการศึกษาพบว่า หลักเกณฑ์และขั้นตอนในกระบวนการรับสิทธิมีรายละเอียดค่อนข้างเยอะทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจต่อโครงการในระดับที่แตกต่างกันของกลุ่มผู้ปฏิบัตินโยบาย หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องรวมถึงประชาชนผู้รับบริการเนื่องจากขาดการสื่อสารและถ่ายทอดเกี่ยวกับหลักเกณฑ์และแนวปฏิบัตินโยบายที่ชัดเจนและสม่ำเสมอต่อกลุ่มผู้ปฏิบัตินโยบายและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง การรับรองสถานะครัวเรือนผู้มีรายได้น้อยโดยใช้เกณฑ์รายได้เฉลี่ยสมาชิกครัวเรือนไม่สามารถคัดกรองได้อย่างแท้จริงและอาจเป็นช่องว่างให้เกิดเป็นประเด็นทางการเมืองได้ ความยากลำบากในการหาผู้รับรองสถานะครัวเรือนก่อให้เกิดต้นทุนในการปฏิบัติตามนโยบายและต้นทุนจิตวิทยาของกลุ่มผู้ประสงค์เข้ารับสิทธิ ระบบแอปพลิเคชันเงินเด็กไม่เสถียร การจ่ายเงินอุดหนุนเพื่อการเลี้ยงดูเด็กแรกเกิดในครั้งแรกมีความล่าช้า ผู้ศึกษาเห็นว่าแนวทางในการพัฒนาโครงการ คือ เพิ่มการสื่อสารระหว่างองค์การ จัดทำคู่มือการปฏิบัติงานโครงการในฉบับย่อสำหรับกลุ่มผู้ปฏิบัตินโยบายในระดับต่างๆ แก้ไขแบบฟอร์มในการลงทะเบียนให้สั้นกระชับ ผู้ปกครองที่มีหลักฐานเอกสารรับรองรายได้ควรอนุโลมให้ไม่จำเป็นต้องมีผู้เซ็นรับรองสถานะครัวเรือน เป็นต้น สำหรับข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายผู้ศึกษาเห็นว่าควรพัฒนาโครงการไปสู่การเป็นสวัสดิการแบบถ้วนหน้าสำหรับเด็กทุกคนตามแนวคิดการคุ้มครองทางสังคมถ้วนหน้าเพื่อลดต้นทุนในการเรียนรู้นโยบายและต้นทุนในการปฏิบัติตามนโยบายจากการศึกษาและปฏิบัติตามแนวทางนโยบายที่กำหนดรวมถึงต้นทุนทางด้านจิตวิทยาของผู้ปกครองที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ รวมถึงลดต้นทุนทางจิตวิทยาที่เกิดขึ้นกับข้าราชการระดับปฏิบัติการในระดับต่างๆและลดการตีความแนวทางในการปฏิบัติตามนโยบายที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับของกลุ่มผู้ปฏิบัตินโยบายที่เกี่ยวข้องอีกด้วย

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many students have been forced to learn online. However, more information is needed about effective strategies for promoting active engagement in the online classroom, particularly the impact of peer modeling. This study investigated peer modeling and behavioral skills training to increase hand raising and question asking/answering behavior in six elementary school students. The study employed a multiple baseline across participants design, with data collected live during Zoom sessions by three research assistants, one acting as the teacher and two acting as peer models. This dissertation presents a qualitative phenomenological exploration of the interactions between Haitian immigrants residing in South Florida and law enforcement. Despite existing research on the experiences of Blacks with the police, there is a noticeable gap concerning the unique encounters of Haitian immigrants, who bring distinct cultural, historical, and linguistic backgrounds to their interactions with law enforcement. Given the increasing population of Haitian immigrants in the United States, this study sought to comprehensively examine their encounters, treatment, and experiences with the police, including aspects such as demeanor, contact handling, and the resultant impact on their perceptions. This study aims to analyze all the Chinese Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) during 2010–2014 and follow their performance for five years. The study particularly tests the competing hypotheses on the role of Chinese private equity. The sample includes 916 firms that operate continuously for five years after IPOs to provide additional evidence on long-term performance. The results using the BHARs method indicate that private equity-backed IPOs tend to have significantly higher initial returns than non-PE-backed ones during three years of listing, supporting the screening and monitoring effect hypothesis in China’s capital market. Silence among flight crews has been one of the significant causes of aviation incidents and/or accidents. This study aims to explore why flight attendants remain silent during flights and/or do not report errors after the end of the flight. For this purpose, semi-structured online interviews were conducted with 21 flight attendants. The data were analyzed through content analysis using the MAXQDA 22 Qualitative Analysis Program. Themes and coding related to the research question were obtained by analyzing the scripts with creative coding techniques. Burmese pythons are an invasive, non-native species of snake to southern Florida and attempts at eradicating the snakes had yielded mixed results. The current rate of detection had been reported as 0.05%. The purpose of this research project was to determine if a UAS equipped with a near-infrared (NIR) camera could be used to detect pythons at a higher rate when compared to a RGB camera. Child identity fraud, or the criminal exploitation of a child’s personal data, poses serious risks and challenges for youth in foster care. Despite the 10-year history of a federal mandate requiring state child welfare agencies to conduct annual credit checks for adolescent foster youth (42 U.S.C. § 675), identity fraud has received scant attention in child welfare research. We used National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System and Census data to examine Black–White and Hispanic–White disparities in reporting, substantiation, and out-of-home placement both descriptively from 2005–2019 and in multivariate models from 2007–2017. We also tracked contemporaneous social risk (e.g., child poverty) and child harm (e.g., infant mortality) disparities using non-child protective services (CPS) sources and compared them to CPS reporting rate disparities. Black–White CPS reporting disparities were lower than found in non-CPS risk and harm benchmarks. Consistent with the Hispanic paradox, Hispanic–White CPS reporting disparities were lower than risk disparities but similar to harm disparities. Descriptive and multivariate …

The hidden curriculum (HC) consists of the implicit and embedded knowledge rooted in college curricula and found throughout students’ experiences navigating higher education (e.g., understandings of professional email etiquette, knowledge about graduate school applications and funding opportunities, and often taken-for-granted programs such as Title IX and disability accommodations). In this semester-long activity, we propose that communication instructors integrate HC mini-lessons to share important information that mitigates social capital and knowledge disparities, facilitates student reflection on their own experiences with the HC, and fosters classroom community. There is no better time than now fort sociologists to adopt open educational resources (OER), and sociology as a discipline is well positioned to lead. Adopting OER takes seriously the well-documented financial challenges faced by many students, supports classroom and campus goals of equity and inclusion, and allows for increased instructor flexibility. However, OER are not without their difficulties and limitations. This conversation article suggests four ways for instructors to begin or advance their utilization of OER. Chinese Yuan Interest Rate Swap Yields, Tanweer Akram, Khawaja Mamun

This paper models the dynamics of Chinese yuan–denominated long-term interest rate swap yields. It shows that the short-term interest rate exerts a decisive influence on the long-term swap yield after controlling for various macrofinancial variables, such as core inflation, the growth of industrial production, the percent change in the equity price index, and the percentage change in the Chinese yuan exchange rate. The autoregressive distributed lag approach is applied to model the dynamics of the long-term swap yield. Social class is seldom engaged by scholars as a lens for investigating variations in children’s digital technology engagement. Drawing on semi-structured interviews with 33 working-class children in a postindustrial community, we examine how social class shapes these children’s digital technology experiences. Bronfenbrenner’s ecological theory of child development guides our examination of children’s views on digital technology integration into their interactions with proximal influences (i.e., parents, siblings, and friends) and distal influences that indirectly shape their technology environments by affecting their parents’ circumstances. We find that working-class children’s experiences share key commonalities with both their lower- and higher-income peers, consistent with …

Alpha-gal (galactose-α-1,3-galactose) Syndrome or AGS is an under-recognized chronic condition which coincides with tick-bite exposure, resulting in a unique allergy to non-primate mammalian products and byproducts (in addition to other items caring the α-gal epitope such as carrageenan, agar-agar, and nori). This paper explores the experiences of individuals with this illness, establishing psychological context for expressed symptomatology, while emphasizing the complex trauma rooted in the population’s experiences of the life-altering and life-threatening contexts associated with managing AGS. In India, where elementary education is a fundamental right, significant barriers stall the attainment of educational equity through linguistic inclusivity. This article explores student identities by examining intersections of language, caste, race, and socioeconomic class to make visible complexities of privilege, discrimination, and connections between social structure, identity, and language in education. From qualitative ethnographic research with a settled nomadic Tribal community in rural India, this article highlights contradictions between recent mother tongue language education policies and experiences of social disparities and stigma for Banjara Tribal youth, who speak a different mother tongue language than the language of education. New Host Records Of Apicomplexan Blood Parasites (Haemogregarinidae And Hepatozoidae) Infecting Two Reptiles (Testudines; Ophidia) From Arkansas, C.T. Mcallister, H.W. Robison

Relatively few records of apicomplexan blood parasites from reptiles in Arkansas have been published although the effects of these parasites on reptilian health may be of concern. Using photomicrographs we describe the morphotypes of parasite gamonts found in blood samples from the Midland smooth softshell turtle, Apalone mutica mutica, and a western Milksnake Lampropeltis gentilis from Arkansas. The turtle possessed four distinct morphological gamont forms of a Haemogregarina sp. The snake possessed two morphological forms of gamonts of a Hepatozoon sp. Both infections are new host records and the western milksnake has not been described as a host elsewhere for …

Hemoparasites (Apicomplexa: Hepatozoon; Kinetoplastida: Trypanosoma) Of Two Anurans (Hylidae; Ranidae), From Polk County, Arkansas, C.T. Mcallister, H.W. Robison

Arkansas supports 26 species/subspecies of anurans and only one (4%), the green frog, Rana clamitans, has been previously reported with hemoparasites. Here, we collected blood samples from three species of anurans, five American green treefrogs, Dryophytes cinereus, five American bullfrogs, Rana catesbeianus, two southern leopard frogs, Rana sphenocephalus utricularius, and two Fowler’s toads, Anaxyrus fowleri from Polk County and examined each for hemoparasites. American green treefrogs and American bullfrogs harbored hemoparasites, including two (40%) D. cinereus and four (80%) R. catesbeianus with trypanosomes, and one (20%) R. catesbeiana with a Hepatozoon sp. This is the first time these two anurans …

Nothing has been published in the scientific literature concerning the reproductive biology of the Blue Sucker, Cycleptus elongatus in Arkansas. We examined seven female C. elongatus collected in late February 2021 and 2022 and again in early March 2023 from the Black River, Lawrence County. Egg mass (g) averaged 15.8% of the total weight of these gravid females. It appears that this sucker can spawn as early as February in this population. This is the first time information on female reproduction in this species has been published from any population of C. elongatus in the state.

Diligent members of birding communities are quick to report rare sightings of birds, which often lead to multiple observations and photographic documentation. Verified reports and images of birds in Arkansas are curated by the Arkansas Audubon Society (AAS), which has led to an appreciation of which species are common versus rare. We gathered historic (literature) and more recent unpublished records of rare birds (those with fewer than 10 reports, per AAS) to document the historic and current state of knowledge of those species.
