During deinstitutionalization, schizophrenia treatment shifted from state facilities to communities and families. This change stressed families. This study investigated mental health professionals' (MHPs) knowledge and training about this stress also called family burden (FB). The study had three research questions. These addressed MHPs’ view of FB, what barriers exist in treating FB, can multiple viewpoints define FB, and if these views influence MHPs to reduce it. This grounded theory study used 22 MHPs in seven focus groups (FGs). The participant recruitment process included email, list serves, phone calls, and one state conference. This research study was an investigation of the relationship between the five dimensions of personality, organizational climate, and presenteeism - coming to work when ill. Presenteeism has significant, negative impact on employee’s long-term health, the overall organizational performance, and more broadly on national health systems. Researchers have found that in addition to financial impacts of not working while ill, antecedents of presenteeism include both personal, situational (e.g., the severity of the illness), and organizational circumstances. Anxiety disorders are the most common comorbid mental health condition seen in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. This study was an exploration of the benefits of exposure and response prevention (ERP) for high-functioning adolescents with autism and comorbid social anxiety. Students in online programs are typically nontraditional students from underrepresented populations in higher education. The purpose of this professional administrative study was to explore the limitations associated with artificial barriers to the noncompetitive opportunities within fire departments and whether the removal of the barriers would add to job satisfaction. The purpose of this qualitative phenomenological study was to explore the lived postdeployment experiences of U.S. women veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and their perception of the impact their diagnosis had on their immediate families.
