Nebraska Farmland Values And Cash Rents Rise Sharply, Bruce B. Johnson

The average value of Nebraska farmland rose 23 percent over the past 12 months, the steepest annual percentage gain ever recorded in the 30-year history of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Nebraska Farm Real Estate Market Survey (Figure 1 and Table 1). Preliminary results place the state’s all-land average value at $1,425 per acre as of February 1, 2008. This gain, combined with the gains of the past four years, puts the current all-land average value more than 88 percent higher than the 2003 level. The Neglect Of Divorce In Marital Research: An Ontological Analysis Of The Work Of John Gottman, Joseph Andrew Ostenson

This thesis explores why the divorce rate has remained relatively stable over the past few decades, even in the face of rapidly growing social sciences – particularly the branch associated with the study and treatment of marriage – through an analysis of the work of John Gottman. This thesis chiefly claims that divorce is not addressed in marital research. It is argued, however, that far from being intentional on the part of researchers, the disregard for divorce in the marital research is actually due to underlying, unrecognized assumptions. G7™ Method For Flexographic Press Calibration, Michael Bayard, Xiaoying Rong, Malcolm Keif

The purpose of this study is to apply the G7 method for calibration on a four-color flexographic press. G7 controls and calibrates a press using colorimetric values rather than tone value increase. Two press runs were completed to calibrate a flexographic press. The first press run provided data for creating a control curve called Neutral Print Density Curve (NPDC) for the press run with a specific combination of inks and substrate. The printed P2P target was used to build the RIP curve and cutback the digital file. The calibrated plates then ran for the second time to check the efficiency …

To improve the quality and safety of health care in the United States, the Institute of Medicine identified the need for strong organizational leadership and an organizational culture that supports learning. The paper will review the application of the adaptive leadership model to support organizational culture change in health care. A review of the literature on health care organizational culture and the Adaptive Leadership model will be presented along with a case study of 10 health care organizations that have been working on culture change through the Institute of Clinical Systems Improvement.
