The prevalence of bullying is very high among elementary students, and students are affected by bullying, whether or not they are the bully, victim, or bystander. When working with bullies and victims, it is important to be aware of the different types of bullying, as well as the various forms and characteristics of bullies and victims. The school staff and community can help prevent bullying by gaining knowledge about various aspects of bullying and making the school a safe environment.

Do Women Really Need Marital Partners For Support Of Their Reproductive Success? The Case Of The Matrilineal Khasi Of N.E. India, Donna L. Leonetti, Dilip C. Nath, Natabar S. Hemam, Dawn B. Neill

Among the Khasi, a matrilineal society in N. E. India, women have direct control over resources and help from matrilineal kin. Given this context, we question what effects husbands might have on women's reproductive success. Multivariate analyses of husband contributions on number of liveborn children, child survival, and growth of children find positive effects. These effects pertain particularly if the husband is reported to be head of household, otherwise husband effects can be negative. The analysis is framed in terms of facultative reproductive strategies as husbands' contributions are viewed as responses to variation in women's resources and condition.

Interpretation Of Slavic Multiple Wh-Questions, Lydia Grebenyova

This paper shows that the Relativized Minimality account is not sufficient to rule out SP readings in languages other than languages with overt syntactic wh-movement. My analysis of PL/SP readings distribution relies on the lexical properties of the Q-morpheme, specifically proposing that the absence of the SP reading can be the direct result of the absence of the Q-morpheme of a particular kind. This approach raises the degree of explanatory adequacy in that it explains crosslinguistic parameterization based on the properties of individual lexical items.
