B700: Seasonal Home Residents In Five Maine Communities, Socio-Economic Characteristics, Use Patterns, And Environmental Attitudes, D. M. Tobey
Bulletins
The trend of seasonal residency is growing in Maine. Maine, as a state and by individual communities, needs to know more about its seasonal residents if it is to accommodate their recreational demands now and plan for changing use patterns in the future. Such questions as how many children the seasonal resident has in his household, how many days the seasonal home is in use each season, and what the resident plans to do with his property in the future are all-important for recreational planning both state-wide and on an individual community basis.

The Effects Of Frontal And Septal Ablation On Response Regulation In The Cat, Robert Numan
The Effects Of Frontal And Septal Ablation On Response Regulation In The Cat, Robert Numan
Doctoral Dissertations
The literature dealing with the behavioral effects produced by ablation of the septum, frontal cortical areas and the hippocampus is reviewed. It is concluded that the medial septum, the dorsolateral frontal cortex (and its analogue in lower forms e.g., gyrus proreus in the cat and precollosal midline cortex in the rat) and the dorsal hippocampus form a nodal point within a larger neuronal system that is involved in response regulation.
A model, describing the response regulatory processes mediated by this fronto-cortical-limbic system is proposed, Motor programs are written in the frontal cortex and temoorarily stored in hippocampal area CA3 …

The Anchor: 1972
The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). As of Fall 2019 The Anchor has moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.

Investigation Of The Relationship Between Children's Language And Teacher-Pupil Interaction, Jerry James Wellik
Culminating Projects in Teacher Development
PROBLEM: It was the purpose of this study to determine the effect of pupil language as measured by the auditory reception and grammatic closure subtests of the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Abilities and indirectly by maternal education level on teacher interaction style in dyadic contacts with children.
PROCEDURE: Twenty-one -children age seven through ten were administered the auditory reception and grammatic closure subtests of the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Abilities. Maternal education was ascertained from the children's cumulative records.
