God of War: Ragnarok was released in 2023 to millions of sales and offers its players a unique look at the themes of masculinity and fatherhood set to a backdrop of mythical deities warring against one another. This game relies heavily on its narrative to convey its core themes of divergent forms of masculinity and the conflict between father and son due to differences in their masculine forms. This study investigates the differences in the speed of the Internet among various libraries in rural and urban counties, as well as how this difference affects KSU students' access to educational materials. The primary purpose was to determine how download and upload speeds compare across libraries and what impact those differences have on academic performance. A sample of libraries in counties with over 500 KSU students was selected, and speed tests were executed at two major libraries per county.

As poverty becomes an increasingly pressing issue in America, researchers and scholars alike are left to determine the extent to which poverty has become ingrained in our society. Many different theories exist on how poverty plays (or does not play) a role in politics, particularly voter turnout. Gaps in previous research have left room for my study to connect some dots and draw conclusions based off my own data. After collecting data from 25 Georgia counties and the 2020 presidential election, I had to conclude that in my study, there exists no confirmed relationship between poverty and voter turnout. Rainfall Distribution Along Coastal Guyana, 1901-1980, Robert Ramraj

The Geographical Bulletin

Data over an 80-year period from Georgetown, Guyana were analyzed to determine rainfall patterns along the coastal plain. Data revealed that two distinct wet and two dry seasons occur annually and that a high probability exists that annual rainfall almost never surpasses nor lags behind that of the previous year for more than two consecutive years. Additionally, it is concluded that rainfall was heavier during 1941-1980 than during the previous 40 years, and that interannual and interdecadal variability existed during the study period . Responding to a shortage in local shelter space and a preference for alternative forms of shelter, homeless people in Lane County, Oregon, took shelter unlawfully at the Armitage Homeless Camp (AHC). This paper examines the residents' sense of place, concepts of home, and perceptions of the camp in an attempt to gauge the meaning and value of AHC from the perspective of urban campers. Data were collected from November to May, 1993, through participant observation, interviews, and surveys in the forms of questionnaires, cognitive mapping, and selfdirected photography. Developments in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) have provided a practical and economical uses to a variety of disciplines. This paper focuses on the application of this technology to a geologic region using polygon analysis techniques. This application evaluates the feasibility of such methods as compared to conventional geologic field techniques. The Llano Uplift region of central Texas is well defined morphologically and geologically which provides good ground control for aerial photography. Urban poverty and the "underclass" remain politically and emotionally charged topics among academicians and political analysts concerned with American urban affairs. Geographers, however, have not been central to the main debates. The latter trend is perplexing, given the spatially concentrated nature of the underclass problem. This paper provides a synthetic review of the urban underclass concept and a distillation of the underclass debate in order to describe the complex and multifaceted problems associated with the urban underclass, and to illuminate themes which may be of interest to geographers. The need for this support has only increased with the growing popularity of distance learning as well as the shifting resource use patterns brought on by online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. However, reading list software can be pro-hibitively expensive while not always meeting faculty needs, and traditional print-based course reserves can only be accessed in person in the library, creating unnecessary barriers for students. Students’ Perceptions Of An Embedded Librarian In The Doctor Of Business Administration Program, Christine E. Woods

The Southeastern Librarian

The purpose of this study was to investigate students’ perceptions of an embedded librarian in a Doctor of Business Administration program at a private, Catholic, doctoral-granting university in the Southeast. Quantitative methods were used via an online anonymous survey invitation sent to 137 DBA students using university email addresses. There were 44 students who completed the survey for a 32% response rate. Results of the study indicated almost all students perceived the embedded librarian as helping them complete coursework and improve their research and citation abilities. Students preferred synchronous methods of instruction but only by a small margin compared to …
