Several generalizations and extensions of fuzzy sets have been introduced in the literature, for example, Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets, type 2 fuzzy sets and fuzzy multisets, etc. Using the Torra’s hesitant fuzzy sets, the notions of Sup-hesitant fuzzy ideals in BCK/BCI-algebras are introduced, and its properties are investigated. Relations between Sup-hesitant fuzzy subalgebras and Sup-hesitant fuzzy ideals are displayed, and characterizations of Sup-hesitant fuzzy ideals are discussed.

This investigation deals with a nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equation with infinite retardation (IDDE).We will prove three new results on the stability, uniformly stability (US) and square integrability (SI) of solutions of that IDDE. The proofs of theorems rely on the use of an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF). By the outcomes of this paper, we generalize and obtain some former results in mathematical literature under weaker conditions.

In this paper, the concepts of fuzzy semi-S-irresolute open map, fuzzy semi-S-irresolute closed map and fuzzy semi-S-irresolute homeomorphism to the fuzzy topological spaces in Šostak’s sense are introduced and studied. Some of their characteristic properties are considered. Also a comparison between these new types of functions are established by giving examples.

The present article discuss (r; s)-generalized fuzzy e-border, (r; s)-generalized fuzzy e-exterior and (r; s)-generalized fuzzy e-frontier in double fuzzy topologies. Furthermore, some characterizations of generalized double fuzzy e-continuous, generalized double fuzzy e-open, generalized double fuzzy e-closed and generalized double fuzzy e-closure-irresolute functions are studied and investigated. Moreover, the interrelations among the new concepts are discussed with some necessary examples.

In this paper we apply the cubic set theory to interior ideals of a semigroup. The notion of cubic interior ideals is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Characterizations of (cubic) interior ideals are established, and conditions for a semigroup to be left (right) simple are provided.

In this article, hesitant 2-tuple linguistic arguments are used to evaluate the group decision making problems which have inter dependent or inter active attributes. Operational laws are developed for hesitant 2-tuple linguistic elements and based on these operational laws hesitant 2- tuple weighted averaging operator and generalized hesitant 2- tuple averaging operator are proposed. Combining Choquet integral with hesitant 2-tuple linguistic information, some new aggregation operators are defined, including the hesitant 2-tuple correlated averaging operator, the hesitant 2-tuple correlated geometric operator and the generalized hesitant 2-tuple correlated averaging operator. In a way, the notion of fuzzy multigroups is an application of fuzzy multisets to the theory of group. The concept of fuzzy multigroups is a new algebraic structure of uncertainty which generalizes fuzzy groups. Fuzzy multigroup is a multiset of X x [0; 1] satisfying some set of axioms, where X is a classical group. In this paper, we propose the concept of homomorphism in fuzzy multigroups context. In this paper, we define left Boolean lifting property (right Boolean lifting property) LBLP (RBLP) for pseudo BL–algebra which is the property that all Boolean elements can be lifted modulo every left filter (right filter) and next, we study pseudo BL-algebra with LBLP (RBLP). We show that Quasi local, local and hyper Archimedean pseudo BL–algebra that have LBLP (RBLP) has an interesting behavior in direct products. LBLP (RBLP) provides an important representation theorem for semi local and maximal pseudo BL–algebra.

A problem of reducing intuitionistic fuzzy matrices is examined and some useful properties are obtained with respect to nilpotent intutionistic fuzzy matrices. First, reduction of irreflexive and transitive intuitionistic fuzzy matrices are considered, and then the properties are applied to nilpotent intutionistic fuzzy matrices. Nilpotent intuitionistic fuzzy matrices are intuitionistic fuzzy matrices which signify acyclic graphs, and the graphs are used to characterize consistent systems. The properties are handy for generalization of various systems with intuitionistic fuzzy transitivity.

An algorithmic form of technique for order preference is proposed for group decision making. Hilbert algebras are introduced for investigations in intuitionistic and other non - classical logics and BE -algebra is a generalization of dual BCK -algebra. In this paper, we investigate the relationship between Hilbert algebras and BE -algebras. In fact, we show that a commutative implicative BE -algebra is equivalent to the commutative self distributive BE -algebra, therefore Hilbert algebras and commutative self distributive BE -algebras are equivalent.

This paper proposed two new and simple solution methods to solve a fuzzy system of linear equations having fuzzy coefficients and crisp variables using a polynomial parametric form of fuzzy numbers. Related theorems are stated and proved. The proposed methods are used to solve example problems. The results obtained are also compared with the known solutions and are found to be in good agreement.

Two existing methods for solving fuzzy variable linear programming problems based on ranking functions are the fuzzy primal simplex method proposed by Mahdavi-Amiri et al. (2009) and the fuzzy dual simplex method proposed by Mahdavi-Amiri and Nasseri (2007). In this paper, we prove that in the absence of degeneracy these fuzzy methods stop in a finite number of iterations. Moreover, we generalize the fundamental theorem of linear programming in a crisp environment to a fuzzy one. Finally, we illustrate our proof using a numerical example.

In this paper we propose a new method to forecast enrollments based on fuzzy time series. The proposed method belongs to the first order and time-variant methods. Historical enrollments of the University of Alabama from year 1948 to 2009 are used in this study to illustrate the forecasting process. By comparing the proposed method with other methods we will show that the proposed method has a higher accuracy rate for forecasting enrollments than the existing methods.

Nayeem and Pal (Shortest path problem on a network with imprecise edge weight, Fuzzy Optimization and Decision Making 4, 293-312, 2005) proposed a new algorithm for solving shortest path problem on a network with imprecise edge weight. In this paper the shortcomings of the existing algorithm, (Nayeem and Pal, 2005) are pointed out and to overcome these shortcomings a new algorithm is proposed. To show the advantages of the proposed algorithm over existing algorithm the numerical examples presented in (Nayeem and Pal, 2005) are solved using the proposed algorithm and obtained results are discussed.

In this paper, a fuzzy critical path problem is chosen to show that the results, obtained by using the existing method [Liu, S.T.: Fuzzy activity times in critical path and project crashing problems. Cybernetics and Systems 34 (2), 161-172 (2003)], could be improved to reflect, more appropriate real life situations. To obtain more accurate results of fuzzy critical path problems, a new method that modifies the existing one is proposed here. To demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method it is used to solve a specific fuzzy critical path problem.

The method for finding fuzzy optimal solution of fully fuzzy critical path (FFCP) problems i.e., critical path problems in which all the parameters are represented by fuzzy numbers, is at best scant; possibly non-existent. In this paper, a method is proposed to find the fuzzy optimal solution of FFCP problems, together with a new representation of triangular fuzzy numbers. This paper will show the advantages of using, the proposed representation over the existing representations of triangular fuzzy numbers and will present with great clarity the proposed method and illustrate its application to FFCP problems occurring in real life situations.

Linear programming problems with trapezoidal fuzzy numbers have recently attracted much interest. Various methods have been developed for solving these types of problems. Here, following the work of Ganesan and Veeramani and using the recent approach of Mahdavi-Amiri and Nasseri, we introduce the dual of the linear programming problem with symmetric trapezoidal fuzzy numbers and establish some duality results. The results will be useful for post optimality analysis.
