The distribution form and internal characteristics of proppant after coal seam hydraulic fracturing determine the fracturing effect to a great extent. The proppant in the hydraulic fracture exposed in the underground roadways of the coal mine is taken as the research object. The morphology and accumulation characteristics of the proppant were observed, and the relationship between the morphology and accumulation characteristics of the proppant and its stacking process was analyzed. The No.8 deep coal seam in Daning-Jixian Block is large, thick, widely distributed, and rich in coalbed methane(CBM) resources. After volume acid fracturing, a breakthrough has been achieved in the producing test. However, the productivity of the testing wells varies greatly, and the major controlling factors of productivity are not clear, severely restricting the CBM development. In order to study the characteristics of coalbed methane accumulation and production controlling factors in the northeastern Qinshui Basin, based on the data of coalbed methane drilling and drainage in the Sijiazhuang area, the geological structure, coal seam thickness and buried depth, maceral of the Sijiazhuang coals are analyzed. The geological control mechanism of gas-bearing coal reservoirs is studied, combined with the fracturing and drainage technology of coal-bed methane wells, the production characteristics of coal-bed methane and its influencing factors are discussed. Based on survey data of coalbed methane exploration and development projects in China, the production status of coalbed methane fields and scientific & technological achievements, this paper analyzes the comprehensive control technical measures for stable and increasing production of coalbed methane fields, and the geological conditions and potential of deep coalbed methane exploration breakthrough. The coalbed methane horizontal well technology and the matching well pattern optimization and drainage technology are also summarized. CO2-enriched coalbed methane(CBM) carries important geological information on CBM genesis and accumulation, and is closely related to the exploration and evaluation of CBM resources. On the basis of the systematic summary of the current research progress of CBM genesis, the current research status of the genetic mechanism of CO2-enriched CBM reservoirs was scientifically analyzed by dissecting the special geological examples of CO2-enriched CBM reservoirs in the southern Junggar Basin, and the problems in the research process of CBM genesis were comprehensively pointed out. The difference of coal lithotypes is an important factor affecting the adsorption/desorption characteristics of coalbed methane (CBM) and the productivity of CBM wells. According to four coal samples of different lithotypes from No. 8+9 Coal Seam in Well BX-2, proximate analysis, maceral, wettability and isothermal adsorption/desorption experiments are carried out, and the influence of coal lithotypes on CBM adsorption/desorption characteristics and its mechanism is discussed. The results show that vitrinite content in dull, semi-dark, semi-bright and bright coal samples increases gradually, water and ash content decreases gradually, hydrophilicity decreases gradually, and the Langmuir volume increases gradually. The scientific evaluation of favorable CBM blocks concerns the deployment of CBM exploration and development and the maximization of benefits. On the basis of the existing geological and engineering data, the geological background, resource characteristics, occurrence characteristics and reservoir characteristics of CBM are studied in the 18 blocks with unregistered mining rights in Guizhou Province. According to the principle of coal rank classification and evaluation, the optimum block among the 18 blocks is selected by using the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Finding out the development characteristics of coal seam fractures is of great significance for coalbed methane exploitation and safe production of underground coal mines. Logging and seismic are effective means of geophysical identification of coal seam fractures. Electrical imaging, resistivity, density, sonic differential time, natural gamma, neutron porosity and array acoustic logs are used to describe the small scale fracture morphology of No.8 and No.9 coal seams of MG block in the eastern margin of Ordos Basin. State-of-the-art LIBsmanufacturing process is largely seeking advanced electrode production method with minimumenvironmental concern. Current manufacturing method is based on slurry casting process where atoxic solvent N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) is used. NMP is declared as a priority substance in USAunder the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) for having “unreasonable risk” and requires immediateregulatory action. In Spring, 2022, the Office of Sustainability at West Chester University hired two Zero Waste Fellows (Melisa Posner 23’ and Alden Ritchey 25’) to work with the Post-Landfill Action Network. As Fellows, Melisa and Alden utilized PLAN’s Atlas Stage 1 process to perform a comprehensive assessment of West Chester University’s campus-wide policies, infrastructure, and logistical capacity to establish a materials management system that achieves zero waste.

The societal impact of industrial pollution produced by economic activities is a global concern. This paper presents a causal analytic framework to evaluate the effectiveness of government policy on the reduction of industrial pollutants in 284 Chinese cities between 2005 and 2016. This study reports on the interaction between industrial pollution reduction and the level of regional economic development from four dimensions by using analysis of variance (ANOVA),multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and a bootstrap autoregressive-distributed lag (ARDL) test. Titanium is the ninth most abundant element in the earth’s crust, and titanium minerals are widespread, yet conventional wisdom holds that biology has very little to do with titanium. The element has a reputation for extreme inertness that is belied by data from several experimental systems. This talk will address interactions between titanium minerals and biology at the molecular level, and will examine cases in which organisms and/or biomolecules induce the formation of, bind to, or dissolve titanium minerals.

This paper examines the effect of different residential electrical load profiles (electrical energy consumption patterns within a day) on energy charges for customers with solar panels under different Southern California Edison time-of-use (TOU) rate plans. We identify the TOU plan which would be the most cost effective for solar customers with each load profile. The impact of the orientation of the solar panel array (whether it faces south or west or east) and shading patterns on electricity charges are examined. Under the long-term water-rock interaction, the hydrochemical composition of deep limestone water in each aquifer is different. Such factors as crustal movement and mining influence have led to the hydraulic connection between aquifers. Major water inrush accidents often occur when the deep high-pressure limestone water bursts into the mine with the shallow limestone water as a channel. In view of the threat of roof water disasters in coal mining in western China, the water inflow data of 50 working faces are counted in Dongsheng Mining Area of Shenfu Coalfield, and five typical water inflow characteristics are summarized, which are dynamic recharge-led sustained growth type, the increasing first and then stabilizing type with “dynamic-static” reserves acting together, continuous stability of micro inflow, differential hydrogeological conditions locally prominent type, and the increasing first and then decreasing type dominated by static reserves.
