The development of coalbed methane(CBM) in mining area is conductive to the efficient mining of pressure relief CBM in mining panels, and it reduces the risk level of underground gas. However, the difference in geological and coal mining conditions makes the development effect of surface wells quite different. In view of the technical requirements of roof water disaster prevention and water resources collaborative protection faced by coal mining in western coal mining area, this paper puts forward a technical idea of roof water loss control based on pre-splitting grouting reformation(P-G) according to the strain strength theory of material mechanics and the statistical results of mining fracture zones of different overburden types. The Ordovician limestone water inrush from floor caused by water-conducted collapse columns is the main water hazard threat in Tashan Mine of Tongmei Group. Water inrush from collapse columns once happened in the roadway excavation of 8228 working face. The land barren, grassland degradation and difficult ecological restoration are serious in the open-pit mining area of eastern China. The symbiosis between arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF) and Hippophae rhamnoides and the effect of mycorrhiza on the development of Hippophae rhamnoides root system and the improvement of soil in the dumping site were analyzed. It was found that the plant height and crown width of inoculated AMF(+M) were increased by 20% and 21%, respectively. The root length and root volume of +M were 1.46 and 1.97 times of CK, respectively. The content of Glomalin in the rhizosphere soil of Hippophae rhamnoides in …

Taking Xiangcidi 1 Well in the complex structural area of northwest Hunan as an example, in view of the common drilling difficulties encountered during the drilling process such as low core adoption rate and stuck-drilling buried drilling, we adopted the self-developed pumpless reverse circulation advanced side spray line and optimized the drilling fluid system to effectively improve the core drilling rate of the drilling project. Mitigating the effects of climate change will require rapid deployment of a carbon-free electricity system that includes all available forms of zero-carbon energy. Both renewables and nuclear show great promise, but both come with drawbacks. Power production from wind and solar is limited to times when their respective resources are available, while nuclear is limited in its ability to adjust its output according to the ever-varying demand for electricity. Precipitation, especially with a high intensity, affects the condition of mining waste dumps. The article presents the results of research aimed at determining the impact of rain on water erosion on the slopes of a coal waste dump and its thermal state. Preliminary tests of the condition of two slopes of the coal waste dump in Libiąż (Poland) undertaken in the frameworks of the TEXMIN project was carried out using modern geodesy techniques (low-ceiling photogrammetry and TLS terrestrial laser scanning). Coastal wetlands are the main body of the coastal "blue carbon (C)" ecosystem, and their "blue C" and ecosystem service function are important ocean-based climate change governance methods, which is a "nature-based solution". Chinese coastal wetlands are dominated by salt marshes, with little area of mangroves, while the area of unvegetated tidal flats is large. According to conservative estimation, the current C sequestration of coastal wetlands through sediment burial in China reaches to 0.97 Tg C·a-1, and would increase to 1.82-3.64 Tg C·a-1 at the end of this century. Coral reefs are one of the most productive, and yet most vulnerable marine ecosystems. The global decline of coral reefs induced by climate change and human activities has already affected the processes of coral calcification and carbon cycling in the reef ecosystem, intensifying the long-standing CO2 "source-sink" debate over coral reefs. Micro-organisms such as bacteria, archaea, and viruses are an immense invisible driving force behind the ocean carbon cycle and play a pivotal role in global climate change. Atmospheric CO2 is transformed into depositing organic components with the help of marine planktonic organisms which act as a biological pump (BP). Wastewater treatment is a very energy-intensive process. The growing population, increased demands for energy and water, and rising pollution levels caused by fossil-fuel-based energy generation, warrants the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. This research explored the energy consumption offset of a satellite water reuse plant (WRP) by using solar photovoltaics (PVs) and anaerobic digestion.
